What bothers me the most about Sather is that hell be a buyer now when everything points to them not making it, but he buys anyway. But when the Rangers dont make it and find themselves in a decent draft position (but not great), Sather is going to want to go for gold and make a trade to get into a better position. So hell be a buyer then too. He could have saved all of those assets simply by seeing the reality of the situation NOW. So the entire time hes working against himself.

He contradicts himself constantly.

I hope this year is the exception, and it is helped by the Rangers losing tonight and beyond. This is why i want the Rangers to lose.

One of those games that you can absolutely call a loss before it's even been played. Crosby hatty, Malkin hatty, hell, Rupp hatty.

Didnt know where to put this but thought id mention it;

Big Graves game on rangers in 60 right now, just makes me notice how small Richter was compared to Henrik.

i'm the biggest anti-tank advocate out there but if the rangers lose these two games im going to check into reality and realize we have no chance at even the 8 seed. that is when i hope grachev gets brought up for the end of the season in place of lisin

As much as I'd love to see the the rangers go in there without gabby and beat the pens in their last meeting at the igloo, I have little faith in that happening.

I'm going to guess:
4- 1 pens with or without gabby.

Zipay doesn't make it sound like he's really ready to play. If he does, I can't imagine he'll be too effective.

He never concedes that it's not their year. He constantly tries to force the issue. and it doesn't work.

The Penguins have clearly done their scouting well throwing Johnson in net tonight.

going to the game.

I have already prepared myself for the worst. This is going to be a disaster.

Last game at The Igloo. Thank God. The place has been a house of horrors for us....although now a loss would be welcomed.

It's pretty embarrassing how almost very team puts in their backup when they play us.
There's so little respect for this team around the league.

Yeah and meanwhile Crosby will have a 3+ point night, while Avery will just skate around yapping at people.

HOW DARE YOU QUESTION GOD AVERY. He IS New York. Shame on you, he is a hero to fans alike, we should give him a lifetime contract for his amazingness.

Were you a fan during the drought? At least this team has Gaborik and Hank. Sheesh. At the very least we're treated to two of the best!

Rangers win this one tonight: 4-2

Prospal, Cally, Dubi, Del Zotto!!

Let's go Rangers!

Henrik will play like he did against NJ, Dubinsky with 2, Gilroy with 1, Crosby with 2. Rangers win 3-2

Yeah, just because it has to be that way.

Sather sees us beat an elite team - "we are still in it" he mutters, as he takes a slow drag from his tobacco barge.

Pretty sad we're reduced to attacking each other because the team we love is playing like unadulterated crap.

"Your guy sucks"
"No, your guy sucks"
"This guy sucks"
"That guy sucks"
"Trade this guy"
"Trade for that guy"
"Fire the coach"
"Fire the GM"
"Fire the guy who buses tables at the Tick Tock Diner"
"Fire the guy outside the Garden who sells pretzels cooked over a garbage fire"

As always, Let's GO Rangers!
