Nope, he played fiesty tonite. He actually threw a hit into Matt Cooke. How many times this season have we seen Drury turn away from a check? Too many to count if you ask me. All season long he's been sacrificing his body on the pk but disappeared the rest of the game. Tonite he was out there playing hard on every shift. Too bad we probably won't see that Drury again.

2 whipping boys on here both have good games. Drury for the second night in a row was great, maybe he's pissed his wife won't let him buy a new car and he's taking his aggression out on the ice And then Rozy stepping in to help Drury? Who knew?! Pitt did seem flat but hey you know what this is the NHL a win is a win there's no style points for how good/bad a team is just as long as you win.

Drury's noticeably been hitting more lately. Especially since he was thrown on the fourth line.

I think he's toast, that's why. We will probably see these kind of games once in a while, but I bet you he reverts to his former invisibleness in the next game because he simply does not have it in him anymore to do what he did yesterday on most nights.

Exactly.

How many "Have they turned the corner?" games have they played this season. This will just be another exception that proves the rule that this team sux.

Once they lose to Tampa on Sun everything will be back to normal.

Oddly, Jokinen hasn't been bad for us... (cue Sather bringing out his massive checkbook... "How much ya want kid?"

There's nothing wrong with a healthy dose of skepticism, or cynicism even, but within reason.

If it's that difficult for you (and the dozens and dozens of others around here with the same or a similar mindset) to watch the team with any hope, optimism, enjoyment, etc., then what's the point of watching the team at all?

I'm not exactly happy with the team right now either. But I'm going into Sunday's game believing and hoping we can win. It's going to take a lot more for me to not be able to do that, and when I finally can't do that, then maybe I'll just stop watching.

Ok so now that i've slept and had time to process this, let me get this straight.

WE went into OT and WON IN OT? OFF A SNIPE SHOT? FROM ONE OF OUR FORWARDS?!?!??!

Jokinen got something in 1 OT and kotalik and higgins couldn't do for OT's + shootouts. SCORE A FREAKIN GOAL!

If dru can keep playing like this it would be amazing maybe earn half of his contract along with that it would be great for line setups

pros/dru-gabby having two centers on the first line is great for faceoffs idc where dru or pros plays wing or c

Dubi-joke- cally great second no need to beat a dead horse since everyone knows it

avery-AA- prust great 3rd line i was so surpized how well they play together

voros- christ- boyle.. Eh forth line i miss sjo and betts

Also with the lines like this besides the 3rd line we have 2 centers on each line which means a better faceoff percentage

Hope I have. Optimism... nope. Why should I? And enjoyment... not for a while.

You can chastise me all you want... totally your perogative... but I'm honest and I know exactly where this team stands and by that I don't mean in the eastern conference.

Not sure were this guys game went sour in the past. Buthe has good energy thus far in NY. Plays hard and he's got a good shot. You can see that he actually aims the shot, unlike the 15 other Rangers who often seem to aim at the goalie
Can somebody post the Dubi quote or video? I missed it.

Olli's post game interview was also very interesting. After just scoring the game winner in OT. He wanted to put that behind him and focus on TB on Sunday. Very professional. Didn't even crack a smile.
