Expect the crowd to be insanely rocking, not like the morgue that existed last night...

Should be a good game, good luck ...

I still don't understand why powe's hit was a penalty for boarding, spacek was up against the boards. Got plastered against the glass, its not like jones hit, where bergerion went head first from a distance. Spacek didn't brace himself correctly at all, you want to be upright against the glass. It was a clean hit,a routine hit, the refs called it on result, as they always do.

A win just before the break would be huge. Especailly against a team so close to us in the standings. 4 game winning steak.

Plus we would be up 3 pts on them with 3 games in hand, HUGE game.

Meh it was from behind. I thought it would only be a 2 min penalty though

I laughed. That's pretty much a given... even if no player gets hurt. I predict two threads on the main board about this game. Neither of which are needed. Both of which get closed after a couple of hours.

This.

I'm a lifelong Habs' fans, and I really hate most people at the arena when the team is doing poorly. A lot of people feel entitled to the Cup/playoffs.

Not to say that the fans in Philadelphia are angels, but you guys know that.

The schedule coming back from the olympics will suck. 5 games in 8 days. I hope they rest and heal but still practice and stay in shape.

Love to see a repeat performance of those first 2 periods again today.
But this time let's make it all 3 periods.

Watching this one with 4 Habs' fans, cannot lose!

Right now I'd be more concerned about Hartnell in that regard than Carcillo, he was involved in that scrum early in the game last night, in which I absolutely can't believe there wasn't a whistle.

I'm sure the refs will be looking to call anything. I hope the fans try that stupid ole chant and the Flyers score to silence them, like Umberger did 2 years back. Carcillo and Hartnell need to pick their spots and not hurt the team with penalties.

That would be great, I would've loved to hear a mockery of the olay, olay, olay chant at the Wachovia Center last night to end the game.

Cheers

Prediction: Leighton lets up a soft goal on one of the first shots, as it dribbles past him he looks from player to player dumbly, trying to figure out what they are staring at behind him.

After that the defense plays extremely well, Carle saves another dribbler from going in. Carter, JvR, and Giroux with goals. 3-1 win.

I guess Powe didn't get suspended. Flyers need to adhere to the 10 minute rule in the visitors building. Get through the first 10 minutes without getting sucked into taking dumb penalties and they will be ok. They need to play smart.
