Noooooooooooooooooooooooo!

http://lakingsinsider.com/?p=4104

Jones in for Drewiske.

Why on earth has Harrold not been put back on D? He was better than both those guys during... what was it? Oh yeah, the winning streak.

i understand the want for Harrold back on defense over Jones, but Jones over Drewiske isn't much of a difference other than Jones brings a bit more offense. Davis has been all sorts of ass since he's been back.

Drew just came back from injury. I still would want him before Jones because we know Drew can play better, Jones can't/=.

Heck, put Harrold back on D. Come on.

Exactly. How is Drewiske, who pound for pound is the best out of Drewiske/Harrold/Jones, ever going to get into game shape without playing? He sat for a week after being cleared to play. I thought he was better against Edmonton than he was against the Ducks.

I just don't see what Harrold did to play himself out of the 6th D spot.

I swear, since Murray has last change, if he intentionally puts Jones out against Hejduk or Duchene, I will **** a brick. The image of them burning around Jones is already ingrained in my memory, even though it has yet to occur.

I didn't even have to click on this thread to know what it was about...

Jones is gonna get eaten alive by the Avs' speed tonight, and JJ is gonna be a -3 because of it.

5 bucks on at least one goal, Jones is spinning around in the high slot looking for someone to cover.

This game's gonna be ugly. I don't have a good feeling. Colorado looked so good against Phoenix last night.

With some help from the refs of course. I don't have a good feeling about this game either.

God forbid a player change our minds with his recent play. Better that we form an initial knee jerk opinion and stick to it indefinitely and regardless of current circumstance.

Yes, may god forbid.

Actually, Harrold has been a pretty steady dman with a good hockey IQ all along.

Yes, he's always had the IQ, but as Ludwig pointed out, most problems have come when he has played forward. He is not a bad forward, but rather just a non-factor. On D, he contributes and makes smart, quick plays and gets out of trouble well. Those skills don't help much when he is playing forward, even though, as I said, he's never been BAD. Just useless or usefull.

He just didn't do so well as a forward... I think that was why I was on him so much...to MOVE HIM BACK TO D WHERE HE BELONGS...

The funny thing is that many of the games Harrold played forward, he was supposedly there really as a back-up D in case Drewiske or Jones or whoever **** the bed. Yet, I don't recall a single game where he started as a forward and was moved to D mid-game. I could be wrong about that though. Point being that he never really was expected to be a good forward, but as always, just Mr. Utility. In a way, that versatility has both given him a spot on the team and taken away from his effectiveness since he is clearly better playing D, yet rarely ever does.

Yes, he belongs on defense. Now, only if we can convince TM.

Slightly off tangent here but it's this kind of obvious lineup changes that baffles me about TM.

Harrold was good if not great on defense during our winning streak but for no apparent reason (at least that I know of), he's now on the outside looking in. Why???

Harrold can deliver on offense as well as defense. He just needs the same kind of opportunity on offense as Jones.

When I first saw this thread I thought it was going to be a complaint because a move people didn't like was made i.e. such as claiming Cheechoo or something. I am relieved it was just because Randy Jones is in the lineup... Sucks, but things could be worse

That is why come trading deadline we need another solid "D" than anythog else co,e playoff time.

Maybe we can get Beauchemein, Komisarek Brewer Robidas from Dallas.

Harrold, Jomes or Dreweskie won't cut it.
