Yep. Would like to see some suspensions. The hit on Wilson deserved one and so did the one on KFC.

Just like the Coyotes game, I'm not feeling confident here. But, also just like the Coyotes game, I hope to be pleasantly surprised. Big game against an up and coming Western powerhouse.

They were probably more angry that they live in Phoenix, which I know first hand is just awful.

I hope it's more than that.

IDK about you guy's, but perhaps more than any other penalty, I"m getting tired of seeing boarding in the NHL.

Just this year we've had the hit on Cumiskey, the hit on Wilson, the hit on Green, and the hit on Tucker, three of which ended in injury.

I would support an automatic game misconduct for a five minute boarding, along with suspension pending review by the league.

It's dangerous and (most the time) unnecessary and avoidable. NHL players are smart enough to know when a guy is vulnerable, and I see boarding when the player could have held up as intent to injure, plain and simple..

On the Boods note. I honestly think we need to play him more, perhaps that is a reason our D is slipping, we have too much confidence in Andy. I'm not trying to diminish Boods, he still does have a winning record and I personally think he is one of the best backups in the game. Didn't NJ have this same type of problem last year either before or after the Broduer injury. Clemmsen really did well I remember (Before I saw heard about Andy, I hoped we would go after him).
Boarding - That was, from the TV, seemed to be a pretty blatant "agrivation" boarding. He should get suspended for that I think. I can almost understand the in the moment card. But that was just classless and uncalled for.
I really hope Salei, Liles and Andy have just a stellar game. For trade value, to get outta the dog house and to rub it in team USA's face.

This IS the matchup in the west right now I think. We play them 3 more times after tonight and were neck and neck in the standings. We need all 4 and I think tonight is the most entertaining game in a long time. I still say we crush them though.

I hope we will win or at least get a point.

The Avs have not play well on the road lately, so I am hoping they know what they need to do.

Good to see Salei back. Hopefully he can get back to playing like he did when we traded for him.
