BB so nice to see you posting again, I miss this thread!

I chose other, because if it appliers to today, I will be watching a combination of the Olympics, Daytona 500 and then the Hockey game along with my daughters Ringette game.

For about 10 seconds I thought to myself "Hey I should do a News and Blog Report while BB is gone".

But then when I started to attempt it I realized how much time it was going to take (although I'm sure you've developed an efficient system). So thanks for all the work you put in every day!

And yes I am watching the Olympics, whenever I can.

I rarely read Brownlee over at ON for my own reasons but I thought this one would be interesting given the title - and it was. For once somebody in the MSM told the actual truth about what drives journalist's agendas and it sure as heck isn't 'pursuit of the truth' or 'the people's right to know'. Those lofty ideals died in the media about the time Leave It to Beaver reruns lost their market which coincides pretty nicely with the opening of Journalism faculties at universities.

It's only sports here but in the world of 'real journalism' where the topic is politics the media is even more self serving in my experience.

Welcome back BB - you have been missed.

Honestly it takes about 20-35 minutes to make the thread. I bet I could make it a bit more efficient but I do try to skim through some articles before posting, then I need to remember if I already posted something. It also depends on whethere or not something else is going on at the same time.

No matter, everyone survived for a week but thanks for the replies everyone, I surely missed my internet hockey family!
