I hope the door hits his ass good on the way out. Pathetic excuse for a leader.

My guess is Moreau has been on sites like this and sees how much Oil fans have soured on him. I mean, he is fed VERY soft questions in local interviews, everyone tied to the Oilers seem to fall back on the injury excuse, there is no way possible he has stayed in the Oiler team bubble. It is impossible for him to not know how bad he has sucked for the last couple of years, yet he more than most other Oilers portrays a sense of entitlement.

That said, I do hope he is traded for his sake too. As much as he has sucked, I think he deserves a fresh start. There was a time when he was a true warrior for us and I think he respectfully deserves to go out(end his playing days) on a better note. I really do think there is a good way to end all of this, I just hope it is between the Olympics and the trade deadline.

Most athletes have a certain amount of arrogance. It's almost a requisite component of being able to make it at an elite level, the belief in yourself. What is sad is when once great (in Ethan's case merely "good") athletes continue to believe in themselves in spite of what is abundantly clear to any impartial observer - the athelete has lost it.

Ethan is clearly on his last NHL contract. The game has passed him by. He was never the best thinking man's hockey player, back when he still had the physical tools, and now that he has lost his tools, and has to rely on his brain more, he is lost out there.

I was sad to see Gator leave, even though he was in a similar situation. Ethan? Not so much. It is time for Ethan to go somewhere where he can be a healthy scratch for most of this year and then get waived next year.

Thanks, I had a better afternoon which is good since i couldn't find a replacement cycle instructor.

I keep looking for stories on Oilers in the Olympics, but think that we might have to settle for general olympic news stories.
