Philly and Boston will both make, the 8th spot is between Montreal, Tampa, and NYR. It's really a toss up. We have a tough schedule and we're going to be riding Lundqvist, who is probably going to play every game for Sweden.

Yup, he sure does. Now that we've got a winning streak going I fully expect our 2nd round pick and a prospect or two are gone for some pending UFA rental to get those two games by whatever means necessary.

I vote Yes. This team seems to be clicking. Watch out for them after the break. I'm predicting they go 6-3-1 through their first 10.

You are sure about this? I say Boston does not make the playoffs. Philly has the tools, but are known to go on some bad streaks. They are in good position coming into this break but unless they continue roll,... their only 5 pts removed from 12th place.

Rangers have shown time and again the last few seasons to bare down and win a playoff spot. They have to face all the teams they are contending with. It's simple,... beat the teams that are ahead of you and your in. It is no different this year.

And to those who say one round and out come playoffs. 2 of the last 3 years we breezed in the first round beating ATL and NJ.

Quite frankly i dont see it. But hey, we all have our opinion.

The next 10:

Senators (2-1)

--Trade Deadline--

Penguins (1-4)
Capitals (1-2)
Sabres (1-1)
Devils (2-1-1)

Thrashers (0-1-2)
Flyers (1-2)
Canadiens (1-1-1)
Blues (0-1)
Bruins (3-0)

All but 1 team has more points then the Rangers (Atl, 1 less), and yes even the Blues have more.

I would say that stretch is critical to the run, maybe even the first 5 considering the Rangers have to average 1.35 points per game to reach 90. Id say they need to get 6-7 points out of the next available 10 to have a shot.

If they go 6-3-1 as you predict, theyl'l be on pace for 89 points. Enough to get in? Given the Eastern conference... probably.

I think we'll know exactly where well stand on March 10th after the game in Newark - and by that time itll be too late to get back what you traded away for the run, and it will be too late to get valuable assets back for Jokinen and Prospal.

To many holes in key areas, a lack of scoring and a soft defence will prevent the Rangers from missing the PO's.

Not gonna make it.

Assets WILL be wasted (like they already have) to ensure the Rangers have a shot at making a few extra million in playoff revenue.

And the wheels keep on spinning.

And history repeats itself.

And Glen is still in charge.

And the Rangers wont be any better because of it.
This. I really hope they don't get in at this rate. You would think they would say to themselves

"You know..if we make this team better in the long run we would be able to host more playoff games and that would make us more $$"

Dolan: "Nah, one or two is fine"

We're ****ed.
