Matt Martin's first NHL Fight (vs. T. Kennedy)

Kennedy fights occasionally and usually with people in his own weight class apart from Schenn. Martin controlled the fight but he should do given his size and experience advantage.

Good to see Martin already getting some time in the show pretty impressive for an OHL walk on to already be getting time with the big club at 20.

He isn't a heavyweight but a good solid player that plays tough and will scrap when he has to.

Except Martin doesn't intentionally hit from behind and he can actually play hockey.

He spoke about the visor and with the high shots, he decided to keep it on. Martin also spoke about not having time to shed the helmet since Kennedy went after him.

In the fight against Thompson, he shed his helmet right away .
