Tealing Out Socal - 3/14 (Final Gathering of the Teal Masses)
Unlike an infestation, a teal out started out with the local Socal Sharks fans getting together at the Anaheim Pond and rooting on our favorite team without any pre-planed bus trip. We just got in our cars and found our way to the game. Over the years we have had Nor-cal fans or fans all over travel down to the Anaheim Pond and collectively cheer on the teal. Heck, someone even flew in from Switzerland once..
This past game at the Pond with the infestation bus crew coming down, we took it to another level! Case and point, watch this Youtube Video:
With all the success of the Sharks fans coming down to Socal this season, I would like to continue this awesome tradition with the finale at the Honda Center on Sunday March 14th at 5pm. Remember, since the Sharks have a 5-0 edge in this series, it will be a broom themed teal out. So go to your 99 cent or dollar tree and pick up a broom to bring to the game and root our Sharks on sweeping the Ducks out of this season, and hopefully the playoffs.
Here is a sample of our previous itinerary applied to March 14th and it will change as we get closer to game day. I have included example vids from the previous teal out.
2:30 – Pregame Gathering at JT Schmids (Across from Honda Center)
3:30 – Rally across Katella Avenue and meet at Wild Wing before entering Honda Center
4:15 – Gather in front of the Sharks road entrance tunnel at the Honda Center to root on the boys ( JT gives hi fives and pounds all around, and Drew definitely gets a kick out of interviewing someone in front of us…)
4:45 – Get Back to your seats (if we have group seating, we can rally throughout the game together)
5:45’ish – First intermission.. check with your buddies to see if there are empty rows. Get together if them if its available.
8:00’ish – March out of the seats, arena and yelling your @ss off ( hopefully celebrating a victory)
8:30 – Postgame party at Lazy Dogs down the street at Katella and Struck Ave. (Just come out and head towards the movie theatre. You cant miss it).
For this event, to better organize I will keep track of attendees from all the Sharks boards on a master spreadsheet. If you would like to participate, just post your nickname or first name, including a profile page either from your respective messageboard, myspace or facebook etc. Also please provide a count of someone you are bringing in addition to yourself for example if I am bringing someone, it would be: royale+1

Also kiddies it's there's an Angel game that day too at 105pm. So be aware that places are going to be crowded parking wise. Best side is across the street for 5 bucks.

thats baller status! 714tickets or Ducks Ticket exchange have the best deals. I think 714 lets you pick them up across the street during game day or free shipping, and Ticket exchange lets you print them out on the spot for like 2 bucks more.
