You seriously think Pandolfo is still in his prime?

We all know that Pandolfo was a vital part of this team, all to way up to April of 2006, but its time for Old Yeller to go.

This love affair some people have with Stonehands McRockfeet baffles me, even if it is just a few people.

Lou isn't the "this is a business" type of guy, meaning the guy that will put the welfare of the team before loyalties. I wish he were so Pando could scram.

Edit: Well, you could make a case that he is when you look at Gio and Madden.

What a whiner and what a hypocrite. He wanted this guy badly, but the Thrashers chose to take our offer and that's it. Now he's saying this??

Yeah, OK Mr.Chiarelli. Like that was the reason you didn't acquire him.

well its obvious jealously , but lets be honest the devils hasn't been tearing it up with Kovy . my opinion is Lemaire doesn't know how to use him . and Kovy really doesn't play Devil hockey .

Bolded parts equal pure BS. You do know the Devils were in a heavy slump way before Kovalchuk was traded for?

It's been 6 games, and the team was already slumping before that. Let's wait a little while to judge.

Can you explain how he should use him and how he's being used differently from when he played in Atlanta?

Supposedly, neither was Mogilny. What exactly do you mean?

"Devil hockey".

He's a gamebreaker.

Does that not sound like a Devil to you?

Success = Devil Hockey

Kovy has been very successful in his career as a player.

I think he'll fit in just fine.

I consider the army of 30 plus goal scorers we had in 2001 to be Devils Hockey

I've been reading this conversation, and trying to really understand your point of a "useless 50 goal scorer." I think the refrences to retired players is a waste, they're all different players and to compare today's forwards to yesterdays forwards isn't fair or accurate imo. If a 50 goal scorer is useless, which the title itself leads just about everyone but you to believe otherwise, I'm all ears as to what useful is. If your team doesn't score goals, you don't win.. you realize that, of course. So, I think just about everyone disagrees with your logic. I would imagine Crosby, Ovechkin, and of course Parise are all useless too huh? I really think your choice of words here are horrific.. he's not useless - what I think your trying to say is he's not good at battling in the defensive zone. I believe if you reworded your ideas this way, you'd have a few more people agreeing with you, instead of thinking your wacked out.

i think the difference is, Kovalchuk can be what he is...a sniper. we have more than enough capable players that can pick up the slack in the areas of the game that he lacks. he didnt have that in Atlanta.
