Sharks next move

Is to trade Wade Redden and Patrick Elias

Redden - defenseman with lower contract, depending of the defenseman Picks/prospect involved

Elias - Pick/prospect with cheaper contract (young or old, good or bad) bad ones can be compensate with picks / prospects

Rumours in Florida mention that GM of Tampa Mr Martin Sedin have been seen in San José earlier today. Martin decline to comment on any rumours and said that he was on vacation at Disney World.

Good trade for both teams. Looking forward to seeing the Redden-Redden defense pairing in Tampa

also Elias trade was confirmed earlier today.

Trade was sent to trade committee because sharks GM wanted to veto trade after realizing Martin Erat lied his age and that he will be Restricted free agent, not unrestricted free agent.

Sharks GM accepted the TC decision without hard feelings.

Martin Erat is immediately made available, because of his high salary demand for next seasons.

Erat will be UFA, wants about 4-5mil salary, but is on a pace of 30 goals in NHL. Sharks are looking for younger player(s)

Now it is clear, no need to pull the trigger and run happily away
