This puzzles me. I don't think Morozov wants to return to the NHL. Also, don't the Penguins have the rights to signing him?

No he's a UFA.

Apparently a couple of seasons ago (maybe back when he was still Penguins' property) they looked into bringing him back and he was asking for an astronomical amount of cash.

Wouldn't he also want a huge salary from the Habs, assuming he's interested?

Most likely. But I don't think he has any interest at all in returning to the NHL, so it's not really an issue.

There was an article in La Presse a month ago in which they talked to the Habs' Russian scout, and he basically said that he didn't think Korneev was NHL material, and that he wasn't interested to play in NA anyways.

If you're talking about Vasicek, I like the guy since he's at his best when it counts, but he's slow as hell and often a floater during the season.

if there is someone that MTl should go after in the KHL it should be Jagr and maybe get perez back because we have depth issues.

Jagr can still play on top 2 lines of many teams. We just do not have enough money.

i believe radulov, left the preds on good terms, and said radulov can return at any point. radulov stated that he will head back to the preds after his khl contract ends this year. so unfortunatly radulov will be a pred next year.

I'd go after Jagr if the cap hit wasn't too high.

This is one of those guys, who has no idea what the Stanley Cup means...he is about playing at home for as much $$$ as he can make, so be it...pass on him...

I would also. I'm guessing Jagr's had enough of the KHL (had front row seat of Cherepanov's death last year and had to fight a meathead in a line brawl this year) and would welcome a return to the NHL.

Jagr is a UFA and could be signed, but I doubt he would choose Montreal.

Radulov must be part of a trade to get him... Who can we trade for him ? The Kost Bros, maybe ?

Radulov already left mid-way through a season to head for Russia. There's no way I'm giving up my two best forward prospects in order to get him (if we can still call them ''prospect'').

Actually he left during the summer, not mid-way through the season. His contract might not have been expired at the time though.

He still had a year left on his contract.
