In light of the success that Annti Niemi is having with Chicago this season, would either of these two goalies be likely to play in North America next season? I realize that Ahonen is a former number one pick and is twenty-eight years old, but his sub-2.00 GAA would certainly seem to merit some consideration - even with the difference between the level of play in the NHL and SM-Liiga. Tarkki has also been a workhorse in Espoo and was highly-regarded when he played previously with SaiPa.
Ari Ahonen: Might be pretty good in the AHL but doupt that he will go back there. Been good in Finland so far.
Iiro Tarkki: Has potential and size. Been quite good in here also so north-america could be an option.
+ (the one I have really had a close eye on)
Jussi Rynnäs (rookie): Has been consistent on a high level, has a lot of potential and also size. Has some little difficulties with positioning (dont know if that's the correct word) but personally I won't be surprised if makes a deal even after this season.

I would say that he is a top5-goalie in SM-liiga right now but his team infront of him is also good. Haven't seen him play that much though.
