He speaks French and English. He enjoys long walks on the beach and sitting in front of a fire place burning army men.
he also likes going to quadruple overtime in nhl10, just to let me get the winning goal. Great guy. Really.

Shouldn't your avatar say

"Take over from hated man.

Make it seem like he never left"

But seriously, aren't practices against league rules?
I don't believe so. They'd planned to return to practice tomorrow for a while. I suspect they're allowed to resume practicing once the first Olympic teams are eliminated (today). Although, I imagine Kostitsyn (the only Hab eliminated today) won't be back at practice quite yet.

By tomorrow, eight of 12 teams will be done for. If the Czechs, Russians and Slovaks fall tomorrow, I think that's our entire team, no?

I would love to have Markov back at practice by Thursday morning.

Pretty sure they are skating on their own, no coaches. Seen some players tweeting that they are happy to be back on the ice skating, so as long as it is an unorganized practice I'm sure it is fine.

You can't deny players the right to practice or play, they are at a disadvantage if they can't play and the Olympic players can.

Then why would they have to call to call up Mayer? Couldn't they just send him some money and fly him to Montreal "to hang out?"

Long walks on the beach? Oh I think I'm in love...

Wait, I'm married and have two kids. Sorry Mike.

From Habs Inside/Out:

Quote:
The Canadiens - those who are not in Vancouver - will be back on the ice today for the first time since the Olympic break began.

With Jaroslav Halak in Vancouver, the Canadiens called up Robert Mayer from the Cincinnati Cyclones to act as the second goalie in practice.

Our Herb Zurkowsky will be in Brossard and we will post updates as they are available.
