I'll ask again, how's Sergei Andronov looked this season?
I am a fan, but have only seen him player no more than 3 times. The whole team is in ruins due to finances or lack of thereof.
gm gl ast pts +/- p.m.
32 5 8 13 -5 18

Dmitri Vorobiev
Alexander Radulov
Nikolai Zherdev
how have these 3 looked so far this season with their respective clubs, I greatly miss getting to see Radulov and Zherdev play, and am curious as to how they are looking this season....
I see Radulov is amoung leaders in points....will he fit into a top 6 role in Vancouver possibly on a Line with Geno and Kovy.....assuming u want to keep Ovechkin and Semin together who show great chemistry, I would personally have Datsyuk centre this line for defensive purposes....
And also, Nikolai Kulemin has showed great improvement from last year(not in points, but in all other areas of the game), and is now playing on Torontos first line, he is well regarded for his strong defensive play, speed, and physical play, im just wondering what you think of him on checking line with Fedorov...I think he could be very effective.....
I was just trying to get some info on Andrei Kuchin. I know that he is playing in the USHL for Chicago and is doing well....but I would like to know why he was never drafted and what you guys would say are his strengths and weaknesses.
Thanks
He was previously playing for Lada, but now I see he is playing for Dynamo Moscow.
Any idea on how long he signed a new contract for?
thanks in advance!

Talented player, technique and skating are really above the average, on the other hand he's not too physical and has been reported having some attitude problems. He did play with pros in Russia but he has been silent. Well, he was really young at that times.
I wrote an article about him here at HF not much time ago: http://www.hockeysfuture.com/article...andrei_kuchin/

Igor Makarov ,,, I have heard he has had a bad year and was traded.
Is it likely this opens the door for him to come over to North America?
We will have some roster spots open for competition for next season + if he did go to AHL (I know in past he hasn't wanted to) he would get 1st line minutes and have a good chance to be 1st call up in event of injury

watched him for couples of games on Dynamo's roster - he's got speed but no finishing touch and his hockey IQ is lacking, IMHO, he's another (Lisin, Chistov)
Here's an Habs fan seeking opinions about one of our russian propects, Alexei Yemelin. A couple years ago, Yemelin seemed to be a central piece of the defensive core of his country junior team. If I'm not mistaken, he also played for the national team in a one or two World Championship.
Yet, since Yemelin was injured last year, we hear less and less of him. Is he still a dominant defenseman in the KHL ? Is he still as gritty and physical as he was a couple year ago ? I imagine playing in the same defensive squad (AK Bars Kazan) than Ilya Nikulin must be helping him a litte...
Also, like each year, do you think Yemelin will travel to North America to join the Canadiens one day ?
Thanks in advance.

He has been playing VERY well so far in this year's playoffs, including showing pretty good puck-moving skills, which is probably his biggest weakness.
If he can continue to play like that for the rest of his career, then Habs should certainly try to bring him over.

That sucks to hear
Is his D strong at least?
Still want to see him come over and try to win a spot
Hi, just a North American hockey fan here wondering how Svitov's been doing in the KHL. His numbers have remained the same over the last three years, but I was wondering how his playing style has evolved. How is his defensive game? Has his speed improved? Can he make a difference as a third liner in the NHL?
Svitov could be a very valuable NHL 3rd liner. He's big, mean and physical, can fight, good defensively, has some offensive pop to his game as well, solid leader.
Unfortunately, many of his best attributes don't translate well onto big ice. He's wasting his talent in the KHL.
