i beg to differ for the top 6...

if we are talking vision and passing i take him over gio, cammy and pools EASILY

if (and we are obviously talking all around...i know!) its all around then yes he is 7th all though as i said man oh man can this guy open up ice for snipers and he WILL make those retarded passes (with great passes also come lousy turnovers...its the name of the game --> gomez)

in terms of pure playmaking
1. markov
2. pleks
3. gomez
4. akost
5. skost

Its great news to hear both A. Kosti and Poolie are practicing again.

Lets hope the hunger to excell for both of them is at a season high. We will need goals from both of them.

Put Sergei on a line with some talented offensive players so they can score off some off of his excellent passes into open space.

There are few on our team that have the vision to set up quality shots like Sergei.

You should think before you speak. Cammy is injured as others have pointed out. Giving the brothers a chance to play together might be the spark that SK needs to get his consistency going. Cammy will always be in the top 6, so its not even a concern.

Ak46 looks plenty consistent when on a line with plekanec and cammalleri , injury wasn`t his fault.

I wasn't bashing Andrei's playmaking I just meant Sergei's is unreal, when Andrei has his confidence he pulls off some crazy passes.

And the one vs. NYI 3 years ago too was sick.

Can't wait for these 2 guys to come back in the lineup, not only do we need their offense but they are two of our most skilled guys and help make the game more exciting with some of their moves.

Haha don't worry I was just pointing out how sometimes people tend to underate his PLaymaking skills. That wasn't directed towards you lol. I just quoted you to give my 2 cents

I just hope we will get to see Sergei and Andrei on the same line for more than 3 games in a row but for some reason i really doubt Martin will do that. I wouldn't be surprised that he puts Darche with Plekanec and A. Kostitsyn and send Sergei on the 3rd line.

I hope that Martin goes with a S.Kost-Pleks-A.Kost line until cammalleri gets back...

S.Kost-Pleks-A.Kost
Pouliot- Gomez- Gionta
Darche- Moore- Metro
Pyatt- Lapierre- Moen

Markov- Subban
Hamrlik- Gorges
Spacek- O'Byrne
Gill

Halak
Price

that's how I'd roll down the stretch... though I'm betting that Subban will stay in Hamilton as long as we don't have another injury on defense, leaving the pairings like this:

Markov- Gorges
Hamrlik- Spacek
Gill- O'Byrne
mara
