GDT: Milwaukee @ San Antonio[Florida] 7:00 CST (once again)

The ads play the rampage for the 4th time in 9 days tonight at 7 central...ads have won two of the three but lost the last one sunday...

Question marks include yablonski,who evidently was hurt in his fight and win over erskine last night(beginning to worry if the kid is durable enough for this role)...and fiddler,who missed last night's game with a bruised ankle...and of course pivko remains out for at least another week..

If all three are out tonight,which hopefully isn't the case,it would mean the ads were down to 11 healthy forwards and would have to dress 7 dmen/11 frontliners.

couple of other Milwaukee notes of interest;

Kevin Klein has gone from a -3 when he was sent down to a +3 in 11 games since his recall,the best +/- of any Admiral over that time frame. Evidently made a great play anticipating a clearing pass and a perfect slapshot from the top of the faceoff circle last night to tie the game. Great to see him coming along,Kyle cann't say enough positive about him right now,going on and on about his skating ability more than anything else.

Shishkanov has now scored a point in 6 of his last 7 and appears to have regained his confidence,good news for pred fans.

And Finley's numbers cotinue to climb up the goaltender leader board. Win tonight and he'd be tied for most wins in the league(22 now). His gaa cotinues to fall,now at 2.18 8th in the league and 5th among full time goalies. Save percentage at .923 still 14th in the league and 9th among starters,but a good solid %.

Tootoo seems to have really found his game these last 15-20 odd games,drawing penalties,getting under the skin of opponents,picking up a few points(something like 8 in these last 15-20 odd games). Just generally contributing much more. Getting checked into the Houston bench last night and coming up fighting with virtually the entire Aeros team was a great moment and helped change the momentum of this game.

San Antonio's Campbell scores on the PP 1-0 w/ 4:20 to go in the 1st after Kyle hexes them by just saying that they have the worst PP in the AHL

what in the world has happened to the Admiral special teams?...gone to crap recently,two pp goals given up on the pk again,and Milwaukee 0 for 2

i think on the pk is where Milwaukee misses pivko and fiddler horribly

Word is that Yablo was poked in the eye in the fight last night and that is why he is out...no word on when he will return

Severson makes a game of it 3-2 on his own rebound. Assist Gamache.
They sound hungry.

Upshall, Tootoo, Shish, and Severson all sound like they are playing like they are possesed. Travis Scott unbelievable in goal. 45 shots on net so far. 21-1 shots on goal Ads in third!

Toots sounds like he is getting alot of quality minutes. During the interview, his linemate, [Severson?] commented how responsible Toots was in the defensive end ....sounds alot different from last year...

3-2 loss, but with that effort in the third..certainly nothing to hang their heads about....down 3-0 with that comeback.....I'll take character like that in a loss, any day

I'm pleased the Admirals tried to make a comeback. Now I'm just hoping they'll win Friday night in Cincy! It's going to be a nice trip up there. Listen for the small group of us on the broadcast. We'll be cheering on the Ads for everyone.

most unusual game last night....ads sounded like they were sleepwalking for about the first 30 minutes,then like they were mad as hell the last 30....hard to remember a period like the third period was last night,been a long time since i've heard anything quite like it....Kyle,the admiral announcer said he'd never seen anything quite like it actually..

Admirals so totally dominated the play that period,it was phenominal....i would bet the ads held the puck in the SA zone for 16 minutes of the 20 in the period...outshot them 22-3, and 18-1 in the first 12 minutes of the period...one centering pass,great save by scott,rebound,wow what a save by scott,loose puck in the crease,scott dives and covers it up after another....Admirals had at least 15 good scoring chances in the period,with a chance to salvage a tie-and couldn't do it

Admirals only dressed 11 forwards,and several guys got tons of icetime in this wild flurry...Upshall had 8 shots on net-4 in the 3rd period,Hutchinson had 7 shots on net-4 in the 3rd,Tootoo had 6 shots on net-3 in the 3rd,Shishkanov had 5 shots-3 in the 3rd.....and none of these guys could find the back on the net to tie this thing up,but it certainly wasn't from a lack of effort....Tootoo,Upshall,Hrkac,Severson were everywhere it sounded like in the 3rd but ads could only manage the 1 goal by severson to cut it to 3-2

Some random thoughts;

Travis Scott with 44 saves,was phenominal it sounded like...he always plays great against the admirals for some reason,and is the sole reason Milwaukee struggles against San Antonio

Shishkanov sounds like he is heating up,thank god...two straight goal scoring games and 7 pts in his last 9 games

Tootoo and Upshall were very very active...maybe Upshall sees he has to turn it on to get a chance ever with the preds

didn't sound like finley had his best game,but 2 of the 3 goals were off odd man rushes on the pp,where it sounded like the defense failed him...the other was off a faceoff lost in the ads zone where zanon was beat one on one

Gamache did get an assist for the second game in a row(now 2 pts in his last 4 games),but him,Haydar,Wyatt Smith were largely invisible compared to others again last night(for the second game in a row)

Yablonski,is showing a tendency to get hurt this year,something you just cann't afford at the major league level with your enforcer very often...disturbing for us that hope he's our guy with the preds soon

Ads pk is really missing it's two best frontline penalty killers it sounds like,Fiddler and Pivko...two straight games where the pk has given up two goals,and bottom line that was the difference last night
