OK, he's good on the PK alongside Plekanec but he's not as good offensively as any of the top 6 forwards. Let's say he's the #7 until someone else comes along.
i beg to differ for the top 6...
if we are talking vision and passing i take him over gio, cammy and pools EASILY
if (and we are obviously talking all around...i know!) its all around then yes he is 7th all though as i said man oh man can this guy open up ice for snipers and he WILL make those retarded passes (with great passes also come lousy turnovers...its the name of the game --> gomez)
in terms of pure playmaking
1. markov
2. pleks
3. gomez
4. akost
5. skost

AK should be playing with Plekanec and Cammy, not his lazy brother.
You should think before you speak. Cammy is injured as others have pointed out. Giving the brothers a chance to play together might be the spark that SK needs to get his consistency going. Cammy will always be in the top 6, so its not even a concern.
Skost in my opinion has the better playmaking skills. However, Ak can be so good like that Plekanec goal against the Avs. That was such a beauty from AK. If anything, I think is playmaking is underated.

I wasn't bashing Andrei's playmaking I just meant Sergei's is unreal, when Andrei has his confidence he pulls off some crazy passes.
And the one vs. NYI 3 years ago too was sick.
Can't wait for these 2 guys to come back in the lineup, not only do we need their offense but they are two of our most skilled guys and help make the game more exciting with some of their moves.

Haha don't worry I was just pointing out how sometimes people tend to underate his PLaymaking skills. That wasn't directed towards you lol. I just quoted you to give my 2 cents
I just hope we will get to see Sergei and Andrei on the same line for more than 3 games in a row but for some reason i really doubt Martin will do that. I wouldn't be surprised that he puts Darche with Plekanec and A. Kostitsyn and send Sergei on the 3rd line.
that's how I'd roll down the stretch... though I'm betting that Subban will stay in Hamilton as long as we don't have another injury on defense, leaving the pairings like this:
