Kozlov to the Habs(e2)

They better not go after him.

He's been awful this season, but there will probably be some team desperate enough to take him for a low pick.

Unless he's part of a package, I can't see him getting more than a mid-round pick.

The Wings should pick him back up. He's a perfect fit and knows the system.

We might have to build a bigger press box.

3.666 mil cap hit and having a really bad season.... soon to be 38 years old and no physicality.... hard to see a bidding war breaking out.

The hit doesn't matter as much since he's a UFA, but I agree. The trade may even be for that famous NHL journeyman...Future Considerations.

Not a chance. Kozlov and Afinogenov dislike Ruff greatly, and that's why Kovalchuk would never play here, either.

I don't see a que for the guy. he spend the lasy 4 years living off of Kovey and now that kovey is gone they expect him to step up and he has never been a go to guy--he has always been the player that has needed to be with a really good player to get his points. He has just under 1million left on his contract this year

This is very ignorant. They both play LW at Even Strength so Kozlov and Kovy were never on the ice together. Kozlov played with Hossa for 3 years, not Kovy.

He was line mates with Todd White and a 22 year old Bryan Little and managed 76 pts. last year. Had nothing to do with Kovy.

If we traded Versteeg in the Vokoun deal, I would be open to getting him for a low pick. He and Hossa have had great chemistry in the past. I would think he would be someone the Hawks may target for a vet foward at a potentially cheap price this summer to play with Hossa.
