Congratulations from Sweden. You really played your hearts out and are well deserving of the silver medal. I bet you are much better losers than Canada are winners aswell. Team Canada was the best team in the end tho. Team Sweden have alot to learn from both of the finalists.

Good game USA Miller is the man easily in the top 3 goalies in the league along with Brodeur, Luongo. If Miller does not win the Vezina this year it's a joke.

One hell of a tournament from the Americans. Put up one hell of a fight and was an epic game for sure!

if you don't want to hear the underdog stuff, talk to the media.

ANYWAY, i'm not all that upset. as many have pointed out the US team was just a bunch of kids in Canada, not really expected to do as well as they did. 4 years from now some other team can be the unexpected ones.

Great game by the U.S ... They deserved it just as much as we did, only one team can win though

Awesome jobs, and this team only gets better by 2014. Very exciting tournament. Congrats to the Nucks on winning.

I'm actually kind of pissed at the US team right now. They had no business being in this tournament and they looked like sour-pusses getting silver.

I know they could taste gold. But still, you guys got silver and we weren't even going to ask that much of you. Smile. You did us proud.

I love it. My team's players got an experience of a lifetime. USA defied all expectations and took the Canadians, to their own shock and awe, down to the last wire. No regrets. Nothing to be sad about Great game all around. Congrats to Canada and Drew Doughty. The best King won Now, hopefully he trades up for a silver cup.

Congrats Team USA for their fine performance during this tournament. Played exceptionnally well.

However, they did look very pissed and sour with their silver medals.

This US team deserves huge props. Heart, skill, awesome goaltending - you name it.

You guys should give up the underdog stuff though.. in 4 years you'll be one of the favourites for gold.

We didn't win gold, but we gave a gold medal winning performance. I can't complain for a second about our effort or our play, either today or throughout the tournament. Well done Team USA, I'm proud of you.

And congratulations to you Canada, a well deserved gold medal. Hopefully now that it's over all the anti-Canadian and anti-American trolling that has infected this board the last couple weeks (I'm guilty of it too) will go away.

You go out there and bust your ass for 70 minutes or whatever and lose a game and then you sit there and smile and do jumping jacks and cheer.

They have every right to be pissed. They lost. But they're not going all Ohno-like out there, and THAT is the key difference. They're mad, but not over-the-top mad. It'll sink in that they did better than the "third at best" predictions that many gave with their Canada-Russia final.
