idk i think USA will be the best team in 2014 with Bogosian and Okposo being some additions on it even though they got snubbed this year. I'm just happy a Thrasher will be on USA in 2014.

Well USA Fans

At first I thought I would be okay with a Silver Medal, now that we lost in OT after one of the best games I've seen ever. I am crushed, but I can't even imagine how Miller feels right now. We love you guys thanks for the ride!

Relax. They came really close to accomplishing something enormous, but fell just short.

It's not really hard to see why people who obtain bronze are happier than those who obtain silver.

It'll sting for a while. It's normal when you come so close.

I know the USA shocked virtually everyone by getting silver, but it hurts like hell seeing Canada parade around the ice with their gold medals

You can't be serious. What do you expect from them, to break out cigars and beer? They just lost the gold medal in overtime. They're not supposed to be happy.

Maybe on the flight home after everything's starting to die down, they'll smile and say they gave it their all. But to criticize them for not looking happy about winning silver is just plain wrong.

I'm so ****ing proud of this team I can't even put it into words.

To think that, what, only 4 guys had Olympic experience going into this, and you run the Canadians into OT in Canada, missing Paul Martin, etc... i'm just proud.

Love this team. One hell of a game.

I think this tournament proved that hockey is NOT Canada's game. USA played well above expectations and gave the Canadians one hell of a run for their money.

Very excited for Team USA in 2014.

Excellent effort. Miller is the tournament MVP and these guys played like champs. Can't wait to see em in Sochi.

That is if Bettman isn't a tool about it.

I'll be honest I didn't think we were going to medal but as we started winning I thought we had the gold.

Hats off to Parise as well.

This game was incredible. I feel so bad for the boys - They played great.

BUT a silver medal is something to be proud of.

Great game, great tournament. This was valuable experience for a lot of these younger guys and if NHL players are in the tournament in 2014 we got a real good shot at the whole thing.

No no, I'm ecstatic that these guys won silver. They scared the crap out of Canada. They have a better record than Canada. Canada will always have a little voice in the back of their head saying they weren't as good as the US in these Olympics.

Hell yes I'm expecting they should be proud of all they've accomplished these games.

Amazing game, amazing tournament from this team. Whether they walked with gold or silver today, this team earned it. Not many pundits could have foreseen this team losing in OT of the gold medal game.

Canada won the gold, but the US was the team of the tournament. Not that it has much value over gold.

I'm crushed as well. Feels like your team has been knocked out of the playoffs. Might even feel worse than that.

I have a ton of new respect for Ryan Miller. Great tourny by so many of those players, actually: Orpik, Parise, etc.

Congrats indeed.

They'd better figure out a way to get NHL players into Sochi. This US team was so good while being so young. As a hockey fan, I'm excited at the idea that the core of this US team could be playing together in 2014 at the height of their careers. As a Canadian, I'm slightly terrified.
