The very last guy I'd see on a 3rd line is Brian Gionta. He doesn't really carry the puck but can score in all sorts of ways when he's near the net. The Lapierres and Moores of our bottom 6 won't be able to get him the puck so he'd likely only be a energy player, and paying 5m for an energy player is a huge waste of money. He'd be on pace for about 35 goals playing with Gomez had he not been injured, why change this?
