Yes, of course.

I think the only people who don't are the guys writing the NHLer's paychecks.

I say yes for obvious reasons. I would be interested in hearing someone with the opposite's view explain his argument.

I want them just because if they won't be there all we will be hearing is

"congrats but this was just the best of the rest, if all of our NHLers ..." or

"You lost to college kids!" etc...

Yes, but I won't be devaststed if they go back to the old way. I'll still watch with the same enthusiasm. There is something to be said when an unknown played becomes a national hero. But that means no KHL, SEL, etc. either.

For me that would suck.
You'd have all the European pros of all ages playing North American college boys,
I'd hate that.

That's called the Stanley Cup Playoffs, they happen every year.

I don't see the point. I wanna see what countries can muster up, I want to see amateurs, teams that train and work and develop together rather than all-star teams.

Why? Then it would be a repeat of the WJC 2 months later.

I like the pros in it. Its a nice 2 week break from the NHL, and its better hockey.

I think every 2 years in the summer they should have this. Like in July. It would be perfect.

Sorry, but I'd rather see a team with Toews as a 13th forward than Andrew Peters.

Yes. It is the best hockey possible. Even with World Cups, the Olympics are a whole other level beyond that.

Watch the Spengler cup if you don't want the pros in it.

Definitely, I barely harbor any interest in the Olympics as it is in spite my love of hockey. It would be exceptionally dull devoid of NHLers in my opinion.

I'd like to see it, but I can understand Bettman's point about not getting the exposure for the game. It was ridiculous how many games got put on MSNBC and CNBC. Especially that first Canada/US game. Just crazy. I'd hope that they'd get more games on the flagship if they go next time.

Yes. I think both US-Canada games were two of the best games i've ever seen before in my life, albeit I haven't been around for that long lol.

NO. We have the World Cup for the pros not in the POs.

This 2 wk break is a joke. Now it's TWO days from the trade deadline, we haven't played a game in 2 wks, ROFL!

Teams are fighting for the POs; for the Cup. NHL teams come first and foremost, it should be their focus from year round. Guy's not in the NHL can go play for their country. I've hated pros in the Olympics from the beginning.

I want a rematch with Canada in 2014. USA is going to have a great team in 4 years.
