Holy **** they closed Younge Street (celebration reports)
It's been like this for two weeks here in Vancouver. Imagine going from the streets being flooded and people going crazy everyday to suddenly everything returning to normal and dull again

I miss the games already.
Yeah but it JUST happened today in TO. Thats more important.
I watched the game in Robson Sqare in DT Vancouver, and partied for a few hours on Granville and the like. IT WAS INSANE! I never have and probably never will see Vancouver like this again. So many random hugs, ten billion high fives (my hand is actually bruised) and absolutely no voice.
Also, pseudo-unrelated but the bars in vancouver were charging ******** cover to get into places. It was 40$ cover (we lined up at 0730) to get into a relatively unknown bar. We said F that and went to Robson Square.
I bet they think the party is even better then the one in Vancouver.
Well I had to line up to get into a bar at about 8:00 AM... and I was about 40th in line... the bar filled instantly when opened... I was at the same bar until about an hour ago... 11 PM...
Just ridiculous. I cant talk my throat hurts so much from yelling and singing and cheering and Luooooing...
Congradulation Canada but is a hockey game really that significant? Come on, you folks have to much time on your hands... (just a reality check folks)
Its unfortunate that US doesnt have anything that would bring a country to the streets. Would a world cup win do that? This is pretty much our world cup win.
