Ontario man Charged for assault on woman over volume of Hockey Game

In North Bay, Ontario, a man stabbed a woman at around midnight Friday night because the woman wanted the sound on the Slovakia-Canada game turned down.

The female asked that the sound be turned down, but the male, 47 year old Kelly Stephens, attacked the female with a pair of scissors, and threatened death.

Here is the link from a North Bay website:

What do you think about this?

Sadly enough, that sounds entirely plausible.

sadly enough, huge sporting events tend to draw large numbers in terms of domestic violence. super bowls, historically, are the worst day of the year for it by a large margin.

there are a lot of ********* husbands out there, and for a significant minority, big game days brings out the worst in them.

That was kind of a dumb thing to do. I know hockey's huge, but it's kind of crazy to see what he did.

Me too, thankful someone understood what my question was getting at. North Bay is nice in the summer months but pretty barren in the winter.... not much at all to do.
