exaggeration a bit? Wouldn't say he was a Monster, still looks like he's bothered with injury... played a good game considering.

This might be the quietest Habs/Bruins game I've ever seen here on HF...I didn't even see any trolling from either side...

Everyone must still have an Olympic hangover from watching that exciting hockey tournament...

Best game I've ever seen from Metro.

Bruins were offensively invisible tonight. Nothing. Nada. Zip. That would have been a terrible opportunity to waste had we lost to that (looked that way after 2) but Habs came through with it in the third.

Looks like Gauthier gave up a second pick to get Yappierre to stop riding his sense of entitlement. Muckers won this game tonight.

The rivalry has definitely cooled off between the two teams on the ice.

Gomez... ?

I'll give AK and Pouliot the benefit of the doubt, being their first game in a long while.

He wasn't even good enough to be on team USA, what do you expect... him and his albatross of a contract that is killing our cap space...

Reading this thread (and the other one) is see how "Halak fans" work.

-Price win's the game= Easy night, wasn't the reason we won.
-Price loses= Reason we lost

-Halak wins= Stole the game (See olympics? People make it seem he single handedly took Slovakia to the bronze medal game.
-Halak loses= Team's fault for not showing up

Can you Halak fans just be happy we won and give Price credit?
I can name you alot of games where Halak won where even though he got 104 shots he really wasn't the reason we won...

Pretty sure it means that you won't see any big changes now.

That's as valid as saying that Andrei was too much of a wimp to play for Belarus

Same here; I hope he will accept 2-3 years at 0,7M$-0,9M$ per season. We need reliable vet (with size!) like him on our support cast.

-------------------

Our blue collars (Lapierre, Metropolit, Darche, Moore, Pyatt and Moen) led the way! Lapierre relentlessly went to the net and dished out hits all night long. I like Moore’s game.

Pouliot was solid (good hit on... was it Wideman?) but Andrei Kostitsyn was awful; though it was to be expected after two months on the sideline.

Price stayed focussed after giving a bad goal.

=> A huge “4” points game; in terms of points... we are #6!

On the other hand, our PP is not the same without Marc-André Bergeron:

0/2 tonight

16,0 % (8/50) without him since the beginning of the season. That would be “good” for 28th in the league.

27,2% (40/147) when he is in the line-up. That would be good for 1st in the league.

24,4% (48/195) overall. That’s good for 2nd in the league.

the comments were related to why Price didn't get a game star. Nobody is dissing Price, stop being a baby. he did his job tonight.

you didnt assume halak would of have had an easy night? learn how to disguise your opinions better.

just to let you know, the non RDS 3 stars has price as 2nd star. (RDS coincidentaly patronising price like if price is career backup on antichambre)

Just because you don't say his name doesn't mean you can't be insinuating something.
For example if I say "I can't believe Slovakia blew their shot at a bronze medal" you could take it as a shot at Halak, even though I don't mention him.

I was just thinking. Don`t expect big changes tomorrow. If anything, I think Mara will be dealt for a 2nd in 2010 to recuperate the pick we gave up for Moore.

Who starts on Thursday?

you mean 2011 and I really doubt we get a 2nd for him,I'd be happy with a 4th

Seems that way...Lucic looks comatose this year without Komi on the Habs.. Lucic can't be 100% healthy..He usually plays great against the Habs but not this year...

I've been reading the Bruins GDT to get some opinions from their side and a couple of the haters over there are disgusted the Bruins lost to this "weak" Habs team...If the Habs are weak what the hell are the Bruins this season? They are blaming Julien's system but isn't this the same system that made them so successful last year?

The Bruins of this season are a carbon copy of last years Habs team..From first to struggling to make the playoff's..The curse of finishing first in the Northeast division continues...

Nah i know Moore was a 2011 pick but I think Mara could fetch a 2nd this year. At least a 3rd. Look at what Sutton got. I think a 2nd from a contender is doable.
