D'Ago looks like his time with the Habs might be done too so I wouldn't be surprised to see him moved for a pick.. A 3rd or 4th pick maybe? Too much?

This draft is really deep,if Gauthier could make a move like that I would be really happy, but I doubt it happens

Scoring of the secondary nature

I'm really going to miss Metro after this year Everything from his play to his gap-tooth grin.

I think 4th is more realistic. Either way, we get a mulligan on that one since D`ago was 6th rounder. To get a 4th rounder in this year`s draft would be good considering D`ago is still relatively unproven. He has shown flashes but not at all consistently enough. I think he would be an interesting reclamation project for some teams like Matt Moulson if they were willing to give up a mid pick.

I think you`re really undervaluing Mara. Yes he has been injured a lot and he hasn`t been that great when he did play. But we were asking him to play a role bigger than he was able to bring on this team. With a contender, logging 14 to 15 minutes, he could be a great 5th to 6th guy. That is worth at least a 3rd or a low 2nd.

Watching HockeyCentral now and they were talking about David Clarkson and apparently he requested to be moved earlier this season.. He looks like a very good fit for the Habs...Would bring some size and scoring...Kypreos doesn't think he will be moved though but you never know..

Dago, and Mara. But technically, they didn`t play.

I think you might also see metro get moved.

Can you Halak fans just be happy we won and give Price credit?
I can name you alot of games where Halak won where even though he got 104 shots he really wasn't the reason we won...
Eh I'm happy he won. But someone got their panties in a bunch Price didn't get a star and I explained why. I'm seeing the situation very objectively here, Price had a really easy night and he wasn't put in a situation where he could earn a star. That's not saying anything negative against Price, you guys are ridiculously over protective. If it was Halak, I'd say the same thing, easy night, anyone could have won that game tonight.

Exactly this.

I guess it comes down to what you think is deserving of a star or not. A non spectacular regular NHL goalie performance does not warrant a star in my book. He did his job, good for Price, good for the habs. But for me, that wasn't star worthy.

For 2 periods it sure looked like olympic ice dancing. At the end of these games you know one team is going to look at each other and ask WTF happened?

Tonight it was the B's with that look.

You can't rely on the bottom 6 every night but it gives hope when we see they are capable of a period like this.

Metropolit was unreal. I didn't know he had those kind of moves in him.

Nice road win tonight. The 3rd and 4th lines were fantastic!

Hopefully we never see D'Agostini in a Habs uniform again....one of the softest players I've ever seen in the NHL.

Clarkson would be an outstanding acquisition! He was really playing well before his injury this year....he's a power forward who is really finding his game. I'm surprised he would have asked to be traded earlier in the year.....Lemaire was giving him 1st line and 1st PP unit duty before his injury.

How is anybody's contract HURTING us? People are obsessed with cap room and 2011 draft picks. Bad contract or not Spacek hamrlik and Gomez have been big contributors for us this year.

So we leave Subban in Hamilton another year?

Was BPs goal an empty netter?
Rask was still on the ice, never made it to the bench. Not really important, just curious how the rules work

Good grief.....the Spacek and Gill bashing is getting so tiring. They are two of our key players.

Yes, I loled at that.

Also did a wacky celebration with Hal Gill.

Do you really think there's any chance whatsoever that all 6 of our D-men are going to go through an entire season without an injury?? I have a better chance of winning the 649 this weekend.

clarkson is among the 3-4 guys that I'd consider to go after from gauthier's perspective (so was artyukin ... seriously for what he fetched, its a sin to see another team land him) ...but after the kovalchuk trade, its hard to imagine clarkson being moved... you'd have to overpay with roster players because they are making a run for it ... and even with all cap issues being put aside for a sec, thats sounds impossible and counter productive from a habs perspective imho.
