Greg Campbelll is another guy I'd want the Canucks to target.

I think Shirokov is more likely to be dealt than Grabner. I don't think Shiro fits into the canucks plans heading into next year so Gillis is going to give him an opportunity somewhere else. Also saves the canucks from shredding through draft picks.

Moore was. Campbell likely could be had for a 3rd or so. Upgrade over Ryan Johnson for sure.

Oh my bad, I thought I fell into a bizarro world for a second. Apparently I confuse defensive centers on Florida teams.

If we could get two of Campbell/Seidenberg/Ballard/Reinprecht in one deal that makes sense that would be swell, the price for Horton would be through the roof though.

Pete Tessier is a blogger who usually just writes his thoughts and speculations on the Canucks. I have never heard of him having a source ever, so this would be a first if he in fact does.

The Seidenberg idea out of Florida is nice, as I think an Ehrhoff-Seidenberg pair would be great for the Canucks, with a solid chance of retaining his services in the off season. But I don't know that Schneider is the piece that I would move for him.

My interpretation of his post was that he used the word collaberate but meant corroborate, but I could be wrong, I just don't understand what he is trying to say otherwise...

oh unless he is suggesting what I am suggesting...

He is not that great of writer to begin with, mostly an up and down depending on the teams success....not fond of the guy.

Canucks don't want Reinprecht. He plays good for short stretches but is ghostly and soft many games. Oh **** just discribed Wellwood

I don't see Reinprecht as an upgrade on Wellwood, and he is owed over 2 million for 2more years. Big pass there as we would be bemoaning this trade soon enough. That kinda coin can be put towards bigger needs next season.

Well let's face it there is no place for Hodgson with the center depth we have. I mean he can't possibly play a 3rd line role. I heard this from a former GM.

Assuming you can work him into the cap while still resigning Kesler and Raymong, Horton is a guy you could give up a Cody Hodgson for. Top prospects tend to have a sort of sex appeal about them as they're all upside and you're always wondering just how good they could be, but coming back to reality if Hodgson turns out as well as Horton is now then you've made out pretty damn well.

He could start there. In fact, it's a great place for him to start. If he excels, then I'd agree, there is no room for him and it'd be time to move manchild Ryan Kesler

Now we know how Pens feel everytime Jordan Staal's name is brought up. Hey! that team has too many good centers, the maximum allowable is two, thus Staal has to be traded.

Hell why did the Canucks match the Flyers offer sheet to Kesler? they already had Morrison and Sedin, no room for Kesler obviously.

Value-wise moving Hodgson for Horton would make sense, but if Hodgson were to be moved, I'd prefer Gillis move him for a young, potential top pairing defender.

That's a good deal for the Habs. D'Agostini has been terrible this year and Palushaj is a quality prospect.
