Price and Halak to fight in Steel Cage Match

Habs management said they can't chose who to keep and who to trade, both goalies said they want to be number one, so they have opted to have the duo fight in a steel cage match to the death (before the draft just in case it doesn't end in death so we can still get maxium return for one of them) Management thought this would make the HF Hab fans happy, since they can finally pick one goalie and support him instead of saying how one goalie never beats the top teams and the other goalie gets lucky or he had a good game because the other team sucked.

Stay tuned for more details, I heard they are going to ask Demers and Brunet to MC the fight, but Brunet will only do it if the Kostitsyns will fight Lappierre/Latendresse(unless they can get BP to sub for Lats, pending Brunet's approval)

I'm checking with my sources to find out how legit this is.

As long as a Kane-like figure doesnt come in and **** up undertaker like what happened in the 1996 bad blood ppv where kane made his debut and tombstoned undertaking allowing shawn michaels to win and retain his belt

THAT WOULD PISS ME OFF

and then i would hate vince mcm...i mean bob gain...i meant PIERRE GAUT...BOIVIN FOREVER

Christ, calm'er down.

Halak or Price will get dealt between the end of the playoffs and July 1st.

We chose to keep them for the stretch run. Notice not a single team altered its starting goalie situation today? That's something typically done in the offseason.

For now, both gives us the best chance. After this season, we probably cannot afford both (cap), so one gets moved and a veteran backup helps the other.

Also, Halak demanded he play more. His exact phrasing was pretty much he wanted to play more and would love to do it in MTL, but if he cannot, he will have to go elsewhere. At the time, him playing over Price seems insane, so we assumed that was code for a trade. As it turns out, he actually is playing more. Thus, no reason to go sign in the KHL.

Should the Habs match an offer sheet of $6M for Halak? No? How about $5M? $4M? I wonder how high the Halakians would go to match?

So Halak would be a quitter if he can't get his way?
