Wonder why the Niniimaa picture has taken so long to be posted for no apparent logic reason just for the sake of laughing hard at it.

I hope you forgot the ! A 22 years old who was playing 9-11 minutes per game... "... makes perfect sense..."?

I don't mean it makes perfect sense that he should have been captain. I was referring to his sense of entitlement.

I know.

Again: you can picture a 22 years old player, who was playing 9-11 minutes per game, asking for captainship? Maybe you did not like Latendresse but he is not stupid!

Can't you even read...

This happened in December. By that time he was scoring goals in Minnesota.

I seriously doubt Cammalleri, he is one of the few players on the team that has lived up to expectations throughout the season and he played exceptionally well in December.. I'd rule him out.

Lapierre was definitely under achieving hard at the time, so that's seriously possible.

Gionta/Markov we're injured.

Gomez is a possibility as he struggled up until Pouliot and then Gionta returned.

He was a Wild by then.

Laraque actually makes more sense.

Don't get your panties in a knot. I don't care enough about this silly story to take it that seriously.

I won't believe it until one of Eklund, El Cloun or Patrick Caisse reports it.

Was it like the scene in Rudy, where the team tells coach Dan Devine they want Rudy to play for them, as they hand in their jerseys?

Markov, and that's why Markov blew up on Price later on as he wanted to embarrass some too.

Michel Villeneuve looking for ratings yet again. That's the same guy, who, for the sake of ratings, made a stakeout in front of Theodore's house to see if he was truly injured. Now, I never liked Theo all that much, still, Villeneuve has always cared more about famedom and hearing his own voice, than the actual truth.

We should really think about getting back to the ol' tar and lynch 'em out of town. Tremblay and Villeneuve would look so good wrapped in feathers.

You can add Marinaro's rotting carcass to the other 2.

I just named those two because the list would be too damn long.

Add that baffoon from LaPresse who got the K bros story out, as he totally exagerated the whole story and screwed AK's season. That guy was such an anti-habs when he was on 110% from time to time. You could see he was just itching to find any dirt on them.

Add Pedneault and his simplistic dumb drivel. That guy seriously lacks vision and is mostly only good at either whinning against the Habs or praising anyone who does anything good.

Add Bertrand Raymond, who's ego is bigger than the Habs, who has forfeited any sense or professionalism, just so he could get back at the Habs for shutting the door in his face. I still remember his angry mug the day Beauchamps announced that they couldn't get interviews, and that the media couldn't follow the team on the same flights anymore. It happened in the corridor that leads to the lockeroom. He was infuriated. He still hasn't swallowed the pill even after 7 friggin years. Nope. My guess is that he's been a leader for all those who then had a new agenda, against the Habs.

Add Michel Bergeron.

Add Gastro Therrien.

Add so many others my mind is spinning just thinking about it.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's Cammy. He's acted like he wanted to be captain since day one. Look at how he was at the All Stars. He was the only that went to shake the older players' hand. So he's the type that would take this at heart. And if the coach had someone else in mind(say Gionta), then it may have annoyed the coach's ego. So he stroke back at that player.
