Add that baffoon from LaPresse who got the K bros story out, as he totally exagerated the whole story and screwed AK's season. That guy was such an anti-habs when he was on 110% from time to time. You could see he was just itching to find any dirt on them.

Add Pedneault and his simplistic dumb drivel. That guy seriously lacks vision and is mostly only good at either whinning against the Habs or praising anyone who does anything good.

Add Bertrand Raymond, who's ego is bigger than the Habs, who has forfeited any sense or professionalism, just so he could get back at the Habs for shutting the door in his face. I still remember his angry mug the day Beauchamps announced that they couldn't get interviews, and that the media couldn't follow the team on the same flights anymore. It happened in the corridor that leads to the lockeroom. He was infuriated. He still hasn't swallowed the pill even after 7 friggin years. Nope. My guess is that he's been a leader for all those who then had a new agenda, against the Habs.

Add Michel Bergeron.

Add Gastro Therrien.

Add so many others my mind is spinning just thinking about it.
So basically you hate the entire media.

I don't listening or read anything other than what's linked here and mike boone. The Gazette guys (other than Todd, obviously) are decent. The rest are white noise for the low-iq masses.

Marinaro especially.

just assuming this is all BS,but if in fact Martin did something like that to anyone who was not joking around like say Gionta, Gomez or Cammy, then that is a sure fire way to lose the respect of the players as a unit. BTW i doubt this is the case.

Hmm... OK. So the Montreal journalists are all trying to sink the club for their own personal satisfaction. That's giving a lot of importance to those guys.

I don't get it. Were the tiny jerseys meant to insult the player or to support him?

I think it was probably Carey Price. He was called out for the exact same by Andrei Markov apparently, and Price seems like a pretty funny guy with his close friends on the club (notably the Kelowna Rockets captain). They were probably joking around and Jack Martin got a hold of it.

Exactly. And the problem is that the low-IQ mass is the majority. Even people who are smart enough get caught up in it. Just an example here, I have a coworker who is no dumb dude, yet before the Olympics, he told me about his theory that the Kost bros fainted injuries so they could rest up for the Olympics.

That's the kind of thinking the sports mediots in Montreal are pushing and its catching on.

I told the dude that he was out for a walk.

Olympics start, AK still injured. I told him, stop believing the crap from the media. He now has a new found respect for common sense.

So, for which media outlet are you working for?

It's clear as friggin day. I'm not giving them any importance, I'm denouncing a real phenomenon, something that most people with a brain have noticed, and which is supported by thousands of similar articles and collumns.

Hahaha, that would be a great way to tell someone they're cut.

I heard it on the radio too. It's plausible, and even fun to hear IMO. It's pretty easy to identify the "culprit":

He assumes he is entitled to the C. He thinks he deserves it (that excludes most players). Since Gomer is the highest paid player and the nr 1. center.....

He is brave/cocky enough to go ask the C from his Coach which is a daring move - excludes Markov and probably Cammaleri. Increases the odds for Gomer.

He played at least one game with an irritating lack of intensity and energy - that excludes Gionta and Cammaleri - although they were not always effective, they were always intese on the ice.

So the winner is....Scott Gomez!!!
