hard to win when your defense and goalies let in 7 goals. pretty satisfied with the offense at least.

That will NEVER happen. That's almost as bad as hearing Parise for Price. Montreal needs to get real.

HOWEVER, every Habs fan and their mom will be proposing that exact trade all day every day until next season. Maybe if we are "lucky" they will be throwing in some crap player they don't want to "even out" the deal.

I refuse to go to the rumor board anymore, it is so dumb it's not even funny anymore.

Except Buffalo has been pretty bad ever since a few games before the Olympic break. That's why they're giving up their spot to Ottawa. I think they're pretty average outside of Miller personally and that's showing now that Miller isn't winning them games single-handedly.

If we do lose to them I'll be pissed, but I wouldn't panic either.

Depends on how the lose. If they play like they did in the 3rd period against Tampa and Florida but wind up losing 1-2 or something like that it wouldn't bother me. However, the better not come out flat again.

How did Leino look last night? Deserving of being bumped up a line or two?

He looked like he had patience and hands. Not real quick but rolled up his sleeves and worked hard in front of the net. Could have had a pair of goals but couldn't get to a loose puck behind Vokoun, stick was pitchforked in his pads. Fairly impressive debut.

Yeah I thought Leino was surprisingly good, but he's one of those guys who won't make a big impact unless he's putting up points which is probably why the Wings got rid of him.

I was kind of surprised he got points playing with Betts and Lappy, but did show some skill. I think he probably should be up on the third line if you're really going to see what he's got, though.

Absolutely, I was actually a little surprised he didn't replace Carcillo on the top line.

He had some nice plays and a couple points, but he's one of the worst skaters I've ever seen. I don't think he'll be in the NHL long.

Leino, if he worked harder, could be a solid addition to the Laviolette system.

However, I do not have high hopes.

He turned Carcillo and Syvret into actual NHL players, he can do the same with Leino

Yes.

Look at the players he had on the Islanders, most of them are out of the league. Although they're also old by now too
