Yeah, the problem is we live in a media world of headlines and sound bites. In that context this story makes it look like Canadian gloating and rubbing it in.
The truth, as others have said, is that this was probably an accident and thus a non-story. Unfortunately though, sometimes perception is reality. We'll see how much play this even gets, though, seeing it on here was the first I'd heard of it.
