Can I dream that in the off-season we get rid of JM?

No more games with Chris Lee as the official and we're fine. We should be able to make the playoffs.

At least this game he ****ed over both teams, but man, Pouliot was racing to make it a 2 on 1 and a Sharks' player was pulling his jersey and nothing.

Gill held a player and call, but they call Pleks on a clean hit. Guaranteed, if it was vice versa, it would have been fine.

Reffing was a shame for this league tonight, they clearly influenced the flow of this game, our guys spent alot of energy on the PK, they got no break at all, thats what made the difference..

I don't know how you can say bubble team for years to come when we have been ravaged by injuries, have a brand new team and still managed to stay in the hunt.

This team has played a grand total of 2 games as a healthy full lineup.

The Habs failed to clear and the Sharks scored. The play right before was when Heatley tried to shoot from a terrible angle and it went off Thornton in front. Bad missed call.

Unless I am totally mistaken...but I'm pretty sure that's what happened. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Habs easily could have won this game with that performance by Price, very disappointing.
Yea I caught that too. I was waiting for someone to turn that into a Price has bad attitude after a goal against argument.

I don't if our guys gets nervous, or the coach ask them to, but i HATE when we protect a lead in the third. It never works and it makes the loss even more painful. After working so hard in the first 2 periods, with the goalie playing over his head.. we don't do anything in the third and wait for the other team to take the lead and then start skating more but too little too late.

Only saw part of the second period, but Price looked freaking amazing. Looks a lot more confident and relaxed out there.

I dunno. If you think you're gonna be facing 40+ shots at all regularly, why wouldn't you use the guy who wins most of those games? Not a dig at Price, but rather making a point that it's not like the Habs don't have a tool in the box for situations like these.

I'd probably go back to Price just because you don't want to mess with a young goalie's mind (especially one with consistency issues) by sending an unintentional message that he didn't do enough this game. This should still be Halak's ship to bring into harbor though.

You know the game is going to play out somewhat like this, and then when it actually goes that way you end up 10x angrier for some reason.

We obviously aren't nearly as good as SJ but **** we could have easily got a point tonight.

If you checked the stats, you would see that Price had a .925 tonight.

You don't lose games with a .925. Your team loses them.

I wasn't sure what Price was upset about, didn't even think of the faceoff. At first I thought Heatley bumped him, but that's a good call by the poster there.

Price was astounding, I am getting frustrated with the team sitting back whenever they get a lead. However for all the posts I read about this team to be a bubble team for years to come.... I think its a testament of our team and depth that were still in a playoff position with practically our whole core being injured for an extended period of time. Injuries happen all the time, but what happened to us this year is unparallel and we are still in the hunt.

He drew a penalty on the one scrum, why would he bother fighting back knowing we were going on the PP?

And he was pushing back in the other scrums.

You can't sit Price after he had one of the best games this year. Price will play Saturday and Halak sunday,

So, you didn't watch the game?

If it weren't for Price the score could have been 6-2, easily.

There are stats on how to measure pressure against price in a game? Honestly you can not like a player but dont discount a performance just because of that, the reason it wasnt 10-2 was because price was astounding.

This team is better than Jacques Martin. I'm really starting to believe that.
