Scott Parse has been called up from Mancester. Marc-Andre Cliche and Oscar Moller have been assigned to Manchester. Jeff Halpern and Fredrik Modin are expected to be in Nashville tonight and at the morning skate tomorrow.

"It has not been a good day. I lost my glasses early this morning and I had to go buy a pair of 79 dollar reading glasses today. 79 bucks. You can literally get them at Costco, three-for-20." - Darryl Sutter's response to going up 2-0 in the series.
Kind of surprised to see Moller swapped out for Parse, but it's probably for the best. Parse is better suited for the bottom-six game, especially heading into the post-season. And, as others have mentioned, Moller will benefit from bigger minutes in Manchester.
Solid moves today, and happy to see Manchester get Cliche and Moller back. Modin was great for Tampa in their Stanley Cup run, and Halpern can penalty kill, is versatile and will help to keep our top guys fresh. This team has as good a chance as any to make a deep run in the playoffs. Fingers crossed that they gel quickly.
Cool, overall, happy with how the day's gone for the Kings. No reason to try to make something big happen and risk the current chemistry. I really like what I'm seeing coming into the stretch.
I am concerned, however, about goaltending. I know Quick's been solid and have no reason to doubt him.....but you know the whole hot/cold thing.....
Do the Kings even have a backup goalie? I'm sure Quick will play until the Kings clinch 4th place. If Quick is hurt, then no deadline backup will get the Kings the cup anyways. Might as well see how Bernier handles the NHL playoff pressure.

It's not even about Quick getting hurt. Everyone knows you've got to be riding a hot goaltender into the playoffs. Quick's been pretty hot for some time now. How long can he do it?
The good news I saw was that post game interview with him last night. Kid didn't look at all tired, really.
I wouldn't insert Scott Parse just yet...Modin has been sick with the flu, so that might be just a fill in until he is healthy....and I still think Ivanans plays agaisnt tougher teams.
Why does Murray refuse to put the Fro- Zus- Parse line back together?
These guys worked very well together.
It's so dumb to have your two best defensive centers and faceoff guys on one line, Stoll and Handzus are much weaker on the wing than at center. So automatically you are weakening one guy.
Let Stoll center Richardson and Simmonds, and Clune can play on the 4th line, as much as we like Clune, he is not a Top 9 guy on a playoff team, let him make his mark on the 4th line.

Don't worry, the Kings lost so Terry Murray will no doubt make some changes in the lineup before next game

I agree with your last statement, I thought Clune kinda killed the Rich/Simmonds line last nite, he just doesn't have the hands to play the game they play. Think Parse would have fit in better on that line.
