Regardless, Kennedy's play has been making me sick for awhile now.

The Torres - Ellis - Mair line made me laugh for a sec. Don't know why.

Sekera played well, so did Miller...other than that, I was unimpressed.

I worry that since 60 games is about the CHL's season, that when he went on his two week break his body went into off-season mode (not saying he didn't work out, but no practices and no games are a completely different situation).

He looked worn down before the Olympic Break, and really hasn't been very good post-Olympic break either.

He looks slow. His decisions seem to be made a second slower than they need to be and its getting him into trouble. Hopefully its just rust after the break and he will eventually get back up to speed.

Good
-We won a game!
-Mair, I thought he played great last night.
-Vanek's goal. LOL!

Bad
-Connolly's pass.
-Our inability to hit the net. How many times did Jeanneret say the word "Wide" last night?

Ugly
-Carcillo's mustache. It's so gross.

Torres didn't have a very good game and definitely seemed to be trying too hard at times, BUT it was sexy when he beat three Flyers to the puck on the GWG.

Additionally, this is why you trade for Nokalinen.

You've got to expect some of that with Myers. They mentioned on the broadcast that the Flyers were playing the body on Myers rather than the puck to throw him off and it was working. If we are going to have a guy jump straight from juniors to the NHL then you've got to allow him to make the mistakes at the pro level when he is unfamiliar situations. My only hope is that he is learning from the mistakes and polishing his overall game. I think our patience with him will be rewarded nicely.
