The Sharks outrage was amplified as Lapierre sat laughing about the incident on the Canadiens bench. San Jose's frustration was replaced by determination. The team had a rallying point.
I think we were watching the same game. I think the Habs were beating the Sharks when Lappy made that play, so saying they were never in the game is counter to the facts. I thought the Sharks played with more emotion after Lappiere's play and apparently so do others including the writer in this blog.
I am not making an argument that he was trying to injure because I don't know him as a dirty player and can't read his mind. All I can say is it was a dumb play since his team was ahead, it hurt his team and got the Sharks fired up; eventually costing his own team the game.
]Trust me being a goalie myself [/B]I know when you're on a roll it's best to just keep playing. If they make Halak play saturday it will be just as big as the mistake they did at the start of the year when they made Halak play vs Calgary.
trust me, being a player myself. i dont want a goalie in who just lost when we have an equally good goalie who can get the job done too.
