What's going on with our top goalies? Before the break they were having a tough time. Last night Luongo gets pulled and Brodeur lets 5 straight goals go in. Fleury had a bad night the day before.
Yeah, 5-0, 1.76gaa, 0.927sv%, a shutout, never trailed at any point.. Just awful.

Team Canada lost with Martin Brodeur in net so there goes your theory about winning with anyone in net.
He's played two games since the Olympics. One he was good and one he was bad. Hardly a large sample size of games to choose from here.

Im not sure he knows how to catch the puck, which makes him very vulnerable to a quick goal off of a rebound.

If he was average and won gold, how bad does that make the americans look if they cant score on an average goalie? Pretty sh*tty I guess.....
For what its worth, since that huge save against the Stars yesterday Fleury has played phenomenal...up until that save though he was rustier than...something with a lot of rust on it. The fact he wasn't getting practice time in with Team Canada was very evident when he came back.

that 'bum' has 3 stanley cups, and 4 vezina trophy's and is regarded by most as the greatest goalie in NHL history. Can LUUUUUUU make those claims?
Luongo wasnt very good at the olympics either. He definetly wasnt the reason why Canada won gold.
