My favorite sports movie is also my favorite hockey movie. Net Worth. It's a Canadian film about the first try at a players association and how the owners basically strong armed the players into submission. Well worth the rent or purchase.

I can't believe I forgot about Net Worth, great movie. My Dad bought it for me years ago on VHS, if I only still had a VHS player I'd watch it when I got home tonight.

Blades of Glory and Men with Brooms always make me laugh.

Miracle, Rudy, and We Are Marshall always makes me tear up with pride.

Youngblood always makes me wonder WTF they were doing? Who sword fights with hockey sticks?

I have to go with Rudy, since he is from my hometown. And I used to workout at his brothers gym.

After that in no particular order:
Bull Durham
Slap Shot..."OWwnnns, Owwnnns"
Mystery
Caddy Shack
Field of Dreams

lot of movies on here i will have to check out!
my favorite hockey movie is definitely slapshot, even paul newman said it was his favorite movie he ever worked on. happy gilmore is probably one of my favorite movies ever. youngblood is another great hockey movie, and the mighty duck movies are always good for nostalgia's sake. one of my favorite sports movies though is vision quest. the music is awesome (totally 80s) i think madonna is even in it haha. im guessing most people spent their winters playing hockey and not wrestling but i was a late bloomer. either way its a good sports film. and who could forget the rocky movies! IV is the best hands down.
