Halak. It seemed like this decision was still being debated, but I assumed it was a no-brainer after the Anaheim game.

may be a comment for the VS thread but nothing that happened in that game helped bring any decision to 'no brainer' status

I don't understand why we would send down pyatt just because laps comes back. We have clearly not missed Lapps. He is absolutly useless. He hurts us more than he helps.

I wonder if during the season we will once be able to go 4 games above .500 that really seem pathetic i am pretty sure we might be one of the few team nhl wise this season who havnt achieve that i wouldnt be surprise if even the isles did it.. Lets hope its tonight and lets hope we really continue on a very long winning streak..

Plus lapierre is the one getting replaced its not like a top 6 guy was suspended where a guy with some offense would be useful.

Well yeah...besides setting up Cammy on a 2on1 with that toe-drag move he made 2 seasons ago when he set up Begin, those were his only passes,he passes when he has to on the boards but anything else he will shoot no matter what the angle is.

..to stir the pot a bit...

Lapierre is the only québecer left in our team . How can you even imagine sending him to Hamilton.

i remember that pass, that was a beauty but besides that. your right, he doesnt pass. He basically became useless this year, and its a shame because i found that last season, he was our most improved player from the previous season.

Lecavalier/St.Louis will probably score tonight. They are always motivated in Montreal.

He has not played like last year that's for sure, not sure if he will be part of the team going forward but one thing is for sure him playing and yapping like he does he better keep his head up at all time when he is on the ice

Oh! Canada I stand on guard!!!
1. There was an invisible sarcasm sign on my post

2. From a PR point of view it would be suicidal to get rid of Lapierre (after Lats and Laraque), though it might be well deserved. A Habs team with not one single québecer would be madness in the media.

3. France is a beautiful country (at specific times and places) - I might consider moving there on my retirement. However your comment was almost funny.

P.S. - Darn' - I missed Darche (MAB is injured and not playing). However, neither of those two will porbably be back next year - and there is no Québecer replacement in the AHL (maybe Desharnais and Desjardins ?).

If I was part of the TB organization, I would definitely play it safe and keep him on the sideline!
Thanks, that really sucks for us,he always seems to have his best games against us

go habs go. always good to play TB.

But Pyatt on the 2nd line ? I understand that JM wants our 1st line to stay intact and that the brothers have played 2 games toghether and it didn't work out. Still, I wish he'd give Andrei and Sergei another chance toghether. But at least, I understand why he doesn't.
