Sullivan-Goc-Hornqvist has been our best line so far. Ellis hasn't had much to do.
The Thrashers look pretty flat. They aren't hitting, their passes aren't sharp... this game could be three/four-nil if not for Hedberg.
Agreed, that line has really had a lot of instant chemistry and are buzzing around the offensive end every shift. Doesn't it always seem that when put with a couple offensive players Goc's line is our best?
Preds doing a good job of bottling up the neutral zone and not allowing Atlanta to fly up and down the ice...best chances for the Thrashers have come off turnovers created by the forecheck.
Klein in particular must make quicker decisions and know where the pressure is coming from. He is second-guessing his decisions and has gotten caught a couple of times already deep in our end of the rink. If there are two forecheckers bearing down on you on one side of the rink...ring the puck around the boards the other way!!!
Wow, lucky to catch a break there as O'Rourke waives off the apparent tying goal because he ruled Thorburn was so far into the crease that didn't allow Ellis to play the puck...still 2-1 with under six to go in the second...
