Oh, Mr. Wilson!

Popovic loses control of the puck and Colin Wilson is right on top of it. 2-0.

Wow...Popovic loses a bouncing puck in the slot, Wilson pounces on it and lifts it up and over Hedberg from within an inch of his pads...

Great move! 2-0 Preds!!!

Swapping Terry Crisp for Darren Eliot the second period...

I like Eliot, very good analyst. Keeps things simple, while also providing a lot of detail in his broadcasts and a super nice guy in person too. Should honestly get more national broadcast time...

Sullivan-Goc-Hornqvist has been our best line so far. Ellis hasn't had much to do.

The Thrashers look pretty flat. They aren't hitting, their passes aren't sharp... this game could be three/four-nil if not for Hedberg.

We need to extend Belak based solely on that segment.

Agreed, that line has really had a lot of instant chemistry and are buzzing around the offensive end every shift. Doesn't it always seem that when put with a couple offensive players Goc's line is our best?

Preds doing a good job of bottling up the neutral zone and not allowing Atlanta to fly up and down the ice...best chances for the Thrashers have come off turnovers created by the forecheck.

Klein in particular must make quicker decisions and know where the pressure is coming from. He is second-guessing his decisions and has gotten caught a couple of times already deep in our end of the rink. If there are two forecheckers bearing down on you on one side of the rink...ring the puck around the boards the other way!!!

Want to cover Antropov, Hammer? Maybe just a little shove?

Wilson and Arnott both get caught low, Oduya wide open at the point, finds Antropov off to Ellis' right for the quick redirect and it's 2-1 on the first shift of the second period...

Pretty lackluster play both ways so far in the second.

Hornqvist can't bring the puck back across the net like that and expect to get away with it regularly...

Wow, lucky to catch a break there as O'Rourke waives off the apparent tying goal because he ruled Thorburn was so far into the crease that didn't allow Ellis to play the puck...still 2-1 with under six to go in the second...

Not a good period so far...

We need to duct tape Hammer's stick to his gloves.

Typical Predators hockey...if we have a good first period, we don't change much. The problem is the other team changes a lot and suddenly we're back on our heels.

Gotta hope we can out-change the Thrashers in the second intermission, win the period, and take two points with us as the team hops on a plane to the West Coast tonight...

aside from his random metaphors and occasional bouts of homerism he's pretty good. mcconnel though, god i wish he would fall off the face of the earth.

if you guys don't turn the puck over in your own zone ya'll will have this game in the bag. we can't score unless it's on the rush.
