The groundhog saw his shadow, which means the Amerks should win 4-1.

Just got home and put the game on....1-0 Amerks. I think they said it was Jillson with the goal.

2-0 Amerks...Jillson pushes it up to Novotny, who drops it to Milley for the goal.

Yep. That's two more points for Jillson...and his roll continues.

Vanek got one of the assists on J's goal.

You know the Amerks are doing good when there was an article in the local paper here (Windsor, ON). If only they were televised in my area...

The Amerks win their tenth straight at home after giving up a 2-0 lead. They didn't play particularly well, except for Jillson who racked up 3 points to continue his hot streak. However, they still pulled it out in the waning moments of the game. That's just the mark of a good, confident team. They usually stomp the bad teams, and they win games when their head isn't in it against the decent teams. The rest of the schedule, too, looks pretty easy. They play often in the division, and have multiple games against Syracuse and Cleveland. A few games against Binghampton look like the toughest...and they should be dandies.

I can't wait to see what this team does in the playoffs, especially if they make the finals against a team like Manchester or Hartford.

Oh, I'm sure we'll hear that Jillson didn't actually play that well....
