I played roller in middle school and in college (ranked top 5 goaltenders nationally in the NCRHA B division in most personal stats for much of my "career"), and I played ice hockey in high school but it was too expensive to continue in college and I wasn't good enough to have it paid for. Nowadays I play on a couple roller mens league teams and I'm trying to find an ice team to play for, but don't know anybody who still really plays in the area. Like DUHockey9, though, I more or less consider myself retired because nothing I play is serious anymore.
I really couldn't care much less about other sports. I'll follow baseball when the postseason rolls around (after living in Philly for the last 5 years and having some hardcore Phils fans for good friends, it's hard not to pick it up) but honestly, that's about it other than the occasional NFL playoff game and the Superbowl but I don't get invested in it.
If I could play and watch hockey 7 days a week, I would, no questions asked.
-Curling has now made my list
-Lacrosse. I had the nickname beast on the field.
...... That's all I ever played haha. I did play street hockey with my brothers back in the day. I would honestly love to play ice hockey, or at least attempt to play it.
