Sharks are being uncharacteristicly passive on the PK tonight

The San Jose TV team have commented more than a few times about how the Preds have really outplayed the Sharks so far in this game.

Alright, Preds! Forty minutes of strong play, this is great. Now keep it up for the third period...

We definitely got robbed on that goal (in my opinion). Yeah there was "distinct kicking motion" but it was Huskins' fault, not Boyd's. He essentially kicked it in his own net, should be a goal! But that's okay, we're still ahead by two...

Very pleased with our power plays this period... two PP goals, that's pretty much unheard of for the Predators!

I said it before but I'll say it again, LET'S GO PREDATORS!

Watching the Lions play football is better than watching the Sharks play hockey.

It was one stupid mistake that cost us that period, but beyond that the Preds kept play in the Sharks end of the ice for long periods and kept the Sharks largely to the outside when they did gain possession and cycle deep in ours. Ellis with the saves he needed to make when he needed to make them and we take "the most dangerous" lead into the locker room at the end of 40 minutes...

Gotta be happy about the game thus far if your in the Nashville locker room, but all of that can change in a hurry if they lose the detail in their game in the final 20 minutes and start to get outworked.

Must keep it simple. Must play smart and eliminate any momentum changing moments in the third. Win the period, win the game...Preds must come out of the room playing like it's 0-0...

Ding ding. That needs to be a motto in the locker room. Don't get cocky because you have a lead.

Don't worry Sharks aren't coming back.

Obviously, all the Sharks got drunk before the game.

Anyone else like the way our top-six deadline addition is playing? Wilson has been great since he was called up right before the break...he is not going back to Milwaukee...

This is about as good a Preds power play as I've ever seen. Just moving the puck instead of hesitating and trying to determine where to move the puck. Very little hesitation.

And how strong has Wilson and Hornqvist looked tonight. That's the future of our Predators!

Exactly. Ignore my ramblings in the trade deadline thread.

I heard Peterson just called this "probably the most important period of our season." I think they've got the message...

Boyd cleanly loses the draw after an icing, Hamhuis goes to the box for tripping, Heatley brings the Sharks within a goal...

Will that be the momentum changer? Need to respond...

Off Malhotra's foot, but this will count...

Detail lacking in the Preds game this period...
