The answer to this lies in dialogue from Jason Lee, in a scene from Chasing Amy that takes place in a waiting room.

Oh boy, at 20 I had dropped out of college, was working at the airport, and doing a lot of drugs.

Fast forward a couple years, and at 22 I had gone back to college, lost the airport job, and got clean. Yay me.

Fast forward to now, and I'm the man.

I'm not sure if you were being sarcastic, but I had some awesome times and some not so awesome times. I'm not going to say good or bad, just a life experience overall. In another life though, I'd probably make a good shaman/witch doctor.

At 20 I was fixing payphones for a company ran by Denise Richards dad. We always heard stories about how hot she was, you have to see here, yada yada. Never met her but banged the secretary. One day I just happened to get the Fullerton route and pulled up to this place called Stuart's Rollerworld. Walked inside and could not believe my eyes. Pulled out my service phone and made a free phone call (no way I'm paying 20 cents!) and told my friend I found a place that has a hockey rink. Played my first league game in Gretzky roller blades and a Miami Hurricane football jersey cause I didn't own a hockey jersey.

This Could Take a While...

Had alot going on at 20, Hearkening back to the days of yore...

Going to College Part-Time, Working a couple part time jobs surfing in contests as I was helping my friends start a Surfboard Company that lasted 10 years. Playing tennis alot working towards competing in that some years later. I think in a couple years D & D the first table top edition came out. Vid games not invented yet yeah not even Pong! Played alot of Ping Pong and shot some biiliards, grew up with these in the home. Was hard to fit in sleep and study time... relationships were not long lastig but I tried to have GF's not just one nite stands poor girls I was not around much! Always on some surf trip or working on the business. etc...

Amazing times, the world was trully a totally different place and time! I have often said I lived my life like it was a holllywood movie... many adventures an hair raising escapades! Now I try to be very careful and mellow slowed waaaaaaaaaaaaay down probably the year I lived in Hawaii was best thing for me got me to take a different view on doing too many things at once!

At 20, the mood waking up pretty much decided what to do. Alcohol and hanging out with friends was usually the best option. Good times and no worries about tomorrow. Great times actually.

"They just NEED it!!!"

20? I was in college in Montana. Worked at an alarm monitoring station. Pretty much school/work/debauchery.
