Great game by the habs, boring effort by boston. Easy game for Halak but that was a big save late.

Awesome seeing lucic and chara getting put on their ass in the same game.

5 game win streak now!

Yeah, he did. That's why I love Andrei : He hits and he shoots and he's not slow. What more can I say !

That was a great hit on Lucic. I don`t know why people were saying it was dirty. Lucic got caught admiring his pass and he paid the price for it.

My three stars.

Andrei, Sergei
Marky

HM to Moore, and Rask. Even though he is the opposing goalie, he made a bunch of key saves to keep this close. If his team was any good, maybe it could have turned out differently for him. Sound familiar?

I don't say this often, but do you know who I really liked tonight? Gomez.

A few brain farts (Markov on the first goal, Darche's giveaway allowing the Bruins to maintain possession and pressure in the zone on the second goal) and momentary lapses of compete (did 5'9" Marchard really out-battle 6'7" Gill in front of the net to screen Halak on Lucic's goal?!) aside, solid effort all around. Another big save to preserve a lead as well with just over 4 mins left. S.Kost with a lot of good effort and getting to the right places at the right time as well. Also liked Moore's effort, and how he just seems to slide away from checks.

Great game.

Aside from that horrible play that led to the bruins last goal and the fact that our snipers need to snipe better, very happy with the team performance. glad Moore got a star, he's really a terrific all-round player.

Five in a row, feels amazing. Especially beating the Bruins to do it.

I love it when big bad Lucie gets destroyed and everyone calls for a suspension. The guy has been playing dirty since he came into the league, its about time he got paid back. I bet his ego took a big hit....maybe he will beat up Mark Recchi during a practice or something.

those 2 losses to philly could of very well be DEVASTATING to our playoff push

as 80 points over philly's 76 with 3 games in hand looks alot better then 76 tied with 76 and philly having 3 gams in hand

but were 6-1-1 SINCE then, and were getting hot, and still missing our best goal scorer and our best powerplay shot

again, would of been nice to win at least ONE vs philly when we had the chance, but wtv, were tied with them now, and who knows, philly could LOSE those 3 very games

Totally agree. It was borderline late... enough so that you couldn't really complain much about something like an interference or roughing penalty. But they were skating directly at each other, A.Kost didn't even come close to hitting him in the head, and if Lucic doesn't stare lovingly at his pass he probably sees him a mile away and is able to side-step the hit.

Don't look now but Sergei's on a nice little run:

3 goals 5 points in last 5 games
4 goals 11 points in last 14 games

ALL even strength.

Not too many greater feelings in hockey than beating the Bruins.

Big 2 pts. AK ought to get an award for putting the fear of God in Chara tonight. Midway through the 3rd period when Chara was going into his zone to get the puck with AK hot on his heels Chara was looking back at him bracing for the hit. Had to laugh.
