When Cammy comes back, Habs are going to look awfully dangerous.
I still don't understand why he opts for a 1-4 passive approach with a 1 goal lead midway through the 3rd period. I don't purport to be a coaching expert or anything but has that strategy EVER worked after the lockout? I mean, I guess it's fine against Boston, but we'll get smoked by Pittsburgh or Washington if we carry on that shoddy passive play.

Good win tonight, well earned. 5 straight wins!!

Great game tonight, I'm happy for Sergei and Andrei. Both played amazing games tonight.

You would fit right in on the Bruins board....

yeah i agree...pretty loose use of the word thrilling. It was a good performance by the habs tho. This game shouldn't have been close.

Umm...you were doing a little more than talking, unless I'm mistaken as to who exactly you are. Talking doesn't get your posts deleted.

And also, just as I don't speak for my entire fanbase, you shouldn't speak for yours. Saying that when you guys starting beating us this year, there weren't any Hab trolls while there were a ton of B's trolls last year is just a flat out lie. The B's board was invaded with trolls from Habland right after the game.

Both fanbases have their idiot fans...and that's a fact.

This is good actually, another nice little break and we'll finally get to see where we stand after the teams around us catch up to the Games Played.

I'm annoyed at seeing us with 3games up for a couple months.

I've been called a lot of things, but this hurts the most.

I'm still pumped over this game. I think I'm going to watch it again in a few minutes.

That's the most amazing part !!

Hopefully, Martin opens his tiny ugly eyes and gives some PP time to Sergei !!

I swear it, if Sergei would've been on a team like the Oilers or the Maple Leafs, he'd be their leading scorers by now... seeing how theses two teams are giving experience to their young players... guys like Kulemin, Bozak, Stalberg, Hanson, Mitchell, Brule, Gagner, M-A- Pouliot, Cogliano, Nilsson, etc. are all receiving their fair share of PP time.

I trully believes that Sergei is better and more naturally skilled than all thoses guys...

In Montreal, a deadwood like Metropolit or even Darche receives more PP time than Sergei !! That's a pure joke right there !! Give him a chance Martin !!

you are thinking of someone else. I read (but dont post) the opposing teams board all the time. U guys get trolled by posters that i've never (or rarely ever) seen over here.

The trolling does go both ways though.

Maybe...but it was restored with the nice goal in the third!

Anyways, I should be on my way out. It's funny how once I've got a few minutes to cool down (after a loss), I don't mind the little jabs from Habs fans anymore. The rivalry is much more "friendly" once the game ends...LOL

Anyways, you guys chill in seventh, I think we can keep eighth. Let's take out the Caps and Pitt in the first round, eh?

Just gonna throw it out there (even though the chances of it happening are virtually none)...how about a B's-Habs Eastern Conference Final matchup as the 7th/8th seeds. I need to go change my pants now.

Ironically, those two teams are respectively the 30th and 29th in the NHL. There's a reason why their young players are getting so much ice time.
S.Kost is finding a niche on the 3rd line and we're finally seeing good bottom lines being established.
When you have a guy on the 3rd line with 11pts in his last 14GP and a 4th liner with 15G, our bottom lines become dangerous.

I'm happy with the way Sergei's been kept on 3rd and told to hold a more defensive role. Whether he'd be on the 2nd line or not would be irrelevant once Cammy comes back. So I think it's a good thing that Martin put him there so he can get use to his role.

I agree that he could be used on PP but not at the detriment of Metropolit. The latter leads our team in PP Goals with 9 and is only 1 goal away from top 15 in the NHL.
Darche can be a question mark, but he's solely used there to park his ass in front of the net.
Our PP should get back on track once MAB comes back though.

It's just that you guys have been consistantly bringing it to our faces last year, especially since it was our centenial. I though it was classless, and even though us habs fans aren't perfect, I feel that we haven't been laughing at you guys like you did us last year... but anyways, I'll stop now. Good luck in the playoffs dear Bruins and I really hope we meet in the finals to revive the great rivalry that we have going on. As a Habs fan, it wouldn't be the same NHL without the Bruins. I'm happy you guys are our arch rivals. Boston Montréal games are fun to watch.
