Let's carry over the momentum.

And I don't think the travel snafu is that big a deal. They're adults, and they can deal with it. Just sleep on the bus/train.

Yeah, both teams yesterday get the short end of the stick. The shortest time between NHL games is supposed to be 22 1/2 hours or something like that, and the Blackhawks play at 11:30 local today, with the hour time change and the time zone as well.

It goes without saying this is a big game.
Go Flyers Go.

IMHO we haven't played a full 60 minute game since the oly break. Now's a good time to do that.

Well, I didn't mind walking in and driving home in the terrible rain because the game yesterday put me in such a good mood, hopefully that got the Flyers through an eventful train/bus ride in a good mood too and they'll come out ready to play.

No power at my store for the second day in a row means I get to watch another weekend game!

I'd like to see some quick sticks and tight passing.

Notes. The Flyers start a four-game road trip Sunday. Other stops: Nashville, Dallas and Atlanta.....The Rangers are in a 6-9-1 funk; the Flyers are in an 8-2-1 surge....The Flyers have allowed a total of 78 shots in their last two games.....Goalie Michael Leighton has started 13 straight games, but Brian Boucher could make his first start Sunday since Dec. 21. Boucher lost to the Rangers, 2-1, on Dec. 19.....The Rangers have been blanked in the last 155:14 against the Flyers.
Avery in for Lisin (unconfirmed).

I'm going out on a limb and predicting a clean game. NYR too desperate for points to mess with Carcillo.

Oh no I never did check that board. I actually meant in the game. Don't care about the loud mouths on the board. The sparks have been flying with them ever since the fight and probably will never end.

Well according to Eklund, Leino is a scratch.

We won yesterday... why change the lines again?

If Leino is scratched, it is because of Laviolette's sense that a physical game is expected and thus wants to matchup with a more gritty lineup. He did against at least one prior opponent.

Leino didn't do a lot yesterday. My only guess is Laviolette knows that Asham wants to prove he can play better and is willing to give him another chance. I bet Asham plays hard today.

It was my first time seeing him play, and I didn't see much of anything special at all. He looked like some anonymous call up
