The Kings did play like garbage for the most part. Frolov and Brown played well. Everyone else for the most part was invisible. Smyth has been invisible since returning from the Olympic break (only 1 goal in 6 games since).
The defense, once again, left their man open in front a number of times. Surprisingly, the pairing that allowed the least amount of scoring opportunities was Jones-Greene.
On the tying goal to make it 2-2, Johnson had a man tied in front but Handzus coming through the crease took Johnson out. I wasn't sure where O'Donnell was there. Doughty and Scuderi let Hornqvist get behind them on the winning goal.
Who cares? Only reason why you notice was because of the call against us. Any other time that would be exactly what happens when people crash the net.
That is the reason for the complaint. The refs should have allowed both goals or neither. They shouldn't pick and choose when they want to follow the rules. That is how the games get decided by the refs.
